Byleth Set ~

I'm starting 2020 off with one of my favorite characters that I've cosplayed, Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses! So far, I've made all of my Fire Emblem cosplays (Charlotte, Ophelia and Byleth), and I learn so much everytime I make one of them ^__^

This was a difficult cosplay for me to make, as I've never made a corset-like top before AND THE COAT WAS SO WEIRD TO MAKE. The vest part of the coat was easy enough to sew together, but the damn sleeves were the biggest pain (please never improvise sewing sleeves onto a coat like I stupidly did).

There were like...arm holes halfway through the sleeves, while the rest of the sleeve droops down. Apparently the design was based on the medieval "houppelande" garment.

Anyways, I'm super excited to wear her for the big Fire Emblem shoot meetup at Katsucon <3 I'm just going to remake her corset-y top cause it's a little bulkier than I wanted it to be and the elbow armor since it got destroyed.
