BTS of Poison Ivy & Ciri Shoots

I've been on a photoshoot roll for the past few weeks, and here I have some BTS content from my recent shoot with Tim Bermingham (: This was one of the most fun shoots I've done with year, and got some amazing shots of Poison Ivy and Ciri (as well as some Ciri boudoir) <3

My roommate and best friend Kaia gave me her Poison Ivy cosplay since she wasn't going to wear it anymore. So me and Tim shot it in a forest, where we shot next to trees, leaves and mossy logs while battling off a lot of bugs trying to crawl into our shoes and onto our legs ;__;

We used a green smoke bomb hoping it would look cool and OH BOY a few of the photos in the green smoke look amazing. I think this might be my favorite shot out of the whole Poison Ivy set.

I love having another model joining us during a shoot, because while I get ready, they (@missgingerlittle on Instagram) would get ready and vice versa, so time wouldn't be wasted (:

Ciri is always fun to cosplay because I like to do her makeup, but her faux leather pants are so tight that if I drop something, I have to strategically bend down in weird ways if I drop something or need to crouch for a pose lol (hence why I rarely do crazy posing cosplaying her).

I actually managed to shoot as Ciri next to horses too, which was one thing I REALLY wanted to do, and I'm hoping to shoot my Zelda with a horse later on as well <3 I grew up riding horses, so I'm always happy being around them. I even found a cat that ended up in one of my photos! We also used another smoke bomb in this shoot, but this time we used a white one to emulate fog (which reminded me of the bog in The Witcher 3).

Getting into the Ciri cosplay was time-consuming, but getting out of it for a shoot was so easy to do haha. We did a boudoir shoot of Ciri at the very end, since I was getting ready to leave anyways. I actually love how it turned out, because sometimes when you shoot boudoir, people can't tell who you're trying to cosplay. But with the makeup, the scar, the wig, the similar-colored lingerie, and the sword in the back, I hope people manage to recognize the character easily (:
