Update/Preview August

Hiya all!

Sorry for the long radio silence again. It has been a wild month for me. I’ve got a good excuse this time, though! BEHOLD!

I finally had the first surgery, and now my hand is fixed! No more stranger in the sheets! Carpel tunnel is fixed and I can now feel my hand again. Which is awesome. That was about two weeks ago now; the stitches have already come out and the external wounds are even already healed. Internally, though, the process is still ongoing. I have the full range of movement again, though it’s still stiff and tender. But! Progress! Yeah!

As for writing, now that my hand is fixed it’s all systems go! For now. While I’m still off work and recovering, anyway. The next next chapter is well underway already; in fact, I’m actually working on it now. The preview above is a scene I’m thinking will be in ch16. Ch15 is about half drafted already, and I’m hoping it’ll be done sometime next week. Hopefully. If my brain decides to be cooperative. I’ve also been planning up some short stories, too, but I have those ideas on the back-burner until I get this chapter done, at the very least.

I’ve basically just spent the last month lazing around watching movies. Because I could not even hold a controller, and believe me, I tried. Since the surgery I’ve been able to slowly ease myself back into painting again, too, which has been awesome. Have a gander at something I’m just about done. Now that my hand actually works again I’m going to be brave and try to put some more detail on the face later today, after my brain overheats from writing.

Anyway, that’s about all I got. Onwards and upwards, as they say! It’s been a long month, but things are looking good!
