I honestly hate inktober

I don't know if i am the only one, but i kinda want to rant for a little but on a topic i find kinda innocent enough.

Now, the practice of inktober was for artists to practice their work and produce it and show off what they made each day, this is cool.
But over time it has now become a pretty much "BULLSHIT" publicity thing.

i know a few artist who will do some October themed things or drawings in the beginning of the year and wait to publish those for October each day so they can bring on this "illusion" that honestly kinda makes other people looking to get into art feel discouraged or down right feel like they can do this.

Now it obviously isn't everyone, i wont be caught saying its "ALL"
But, i don't know i always found it kinda bullshit to do these kinda things, i have tried don't get me wrong, but i work in 3d, unless i am making some assets that i dont give a shit about their quality and am more focused on time crunching then honestly...its not really practice because i feel as though i am robbing myself.

nothing is stopping me from going back and improving these yeah, but i always found this very bad for some people out there.

I don't know, i think i am just bitching to bitch at this moment, i think the honest thing i can take away from this and be positive on both sides is, at least you get some practice...

but a small tip to other artist out there who feel like they will never be good enough, don't fall for this horse shit some people be baiting you out there during this month.

you can kinda tell after a while who is lying about producing certain works each day in inktober.
and based on a multitude of friends i know who participate in this....yeah, its more like "ink-year round just publish it on inktober"
