So for all you "OmO"s out there, i wanna let you in on the latest project and why i have not uploaded some new material for the past couple of days.
while i love making characters quickly and make them look rather great in renders, i always seem to find problems in the poly count as well as the "animation ready" quality that they just dont ever mount up too when i am posing them.
my pipeline was typically, i lower their polys with a method through zbrush of duplication, using "zremesher" and then boom out of the program and ready for posing.
while thats a decent method of getting something quickly.
the issues you run into are as followed.
internal genitalia quality is destroyed - vagina's in regards to models can be done seperate but what i like to do is have them done upon the model i am sculpting....problem is, "zremesher" has problems with certain hole like areas like eyesockets and vaginas and buttholes.
So, i was tired of having higher poly counts to replace more quality models.
so i recently purchased a new program with a better "retopology tools" to make it so i can go to the tiny details and give them the quads and triangles they need to come out smooth and ready for animation standard productions.
same for the faces of my character heads.
while zremesher is a wonderful asset to zbrush....you cant beat old school type methods that are more hands on to your eye and hands when doing things.
only issue is, its time consuming and tiresome.
but after this character, my next one ((spoilers shes a otter))
will test if i can combine zbrushes zremesher, with this new program to build a proper cage and just go in and remove some unwanted in-perfections to cut down on lots of time in my models for faster, better and more genuinely sexy results.
