Nice to see a brand new threat appear in this 3rd episode. I looks like the Hellmouth isn't just a hotbed for Vampires; fortunately, Buffy and Giles are around to save the day! I still don't know the full extent to buffy's abilities, which is why I thought she may have accidently caused the fire situtation (particularly as we know she burned down the gym at her previous school!). And we still don't yet know what brought her to this specific area of doom in the first place... It might be pure chance, but it seems like too much of a coincidence to me, and of course Giles has shown up there too, but that might be because he knew Buffy was arriving there? We'll see if that gets revealed or not. Good episode though! Possibly my favourite one of the 3 so far.
