I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you wanna do a deep dive on a video topic, there are usually a number of sources in the description you can use as starting points, like the Vulture article you mentioned. Especially with this one, there are so many fascinating details hidden everywhere that I sadly couldn't include in the video.

2019-07-02 06:07:16 +0000 UTCThanks for this video - it alternately made me smile, chuckle, simmer in anger, feel righteous indignation, and generally dismiss humanity as idiotic, corrupt, egotistic, and doomed... On the other hand, it wasn't my hard-earned money that some one paid for a heavily improvised and re-invented painting, with sketchy (at best) provenance. I read up on it afterward, and found on Vulture.com a great little article about the intrigue and black comedy that surrounds this work.
