TPU head base
Added 2024-11-04 03:48:47 +0000 UTCStarted printing this head as of today. Excited to see how it looks all together. Combining the look of my grumpy dog with ears attached and doing the whole base out of TPU. Varied the thickness of the walls in areas to make it closer to the way I carve heads. Muzzle is thicker, cheeks are thicker. I didn’t want a hollow floppy head, still wanted structure but with squish. Printing this one at 8% to keep weight down, will need to wait and see how it all looks together in the next 2 days. If the settings work well I will continue with these settings for a few bases I plan to release. Going to make some PLA inserts for the eyes to make it easy to add fully dye sub eyes. Will do a version of this head with different ears and noses. More to show very soon.
