More life updates

suppose this could also be a vent post but eh sense you guys are giving me money I thought you should know whats been going on.

I started working the factory life almost 2 months ago. I made a post about it a week later once I learned all the details. well what I already knew happened, the job is slave labor, but ya know with lots of money and a full benefits package starting instantly and PTO after 90days. when applying it all looks great, once you get there every bone and muscle will hate you, even now after 2 months everything still hurts but it has gotten better, on the work floor a car is made every min, your work takes 59 seconds to do, one slip and you will get behind which usually makes the work harder. those aren't the exact numbers but you get my point, the whole day is spent filled with adrenaline and cortisol. its bad, but my coworkers are nice and, if able, help to catch back up when someone gets behind.

the job gets better as you adapt but really its like being in the 7th circle of hell instead of the 8th

after some years the job can support a hole family and provide everyone with amazing benefits, and in the US, well you know the health care. should I leave a job that will provide me a stable life with no collage needed? but Id be leaving the community i built over the year and the job I acctually wanted (I always wanted to do something in IT, 3D counts in my book) behind me. This, and after spending my hour drive watching videos telling people to follow their dreams, Is a no brainer. I can't go to a job I hate, I also don't want to be that SO that is never home because boss man said its time to work 12 hours and no you don't get a say.



you all that are still here make me cry, that you would still give me your hard earned money even after I said I might not be able to do this anymore. Its your support that keeps me going, among other things. I've kind of already decided that factory work, as good as the benefits are, isn't what I want to do. I already feel like I made a mistake taking this job instead of pushing my animations forward and doing what I love, but Im in it now and should use said benefits to get some health work done, like my wisdom teeth still being in. I was going to stay working here till after Christmas for that yearly bonus but I thought that was a 1/1/2025 thing but its actually a ~2/20/2025 thing and this job is already killing me, the drive to work is an hour, here in Michigan the snow on the highway can make traffic go 35. so suddenly that drive becomes way longer, spending 20+ hours a week driving. I might end up quitting earlier to avoid that

But things should stabilize once august starts and the overtime Saturdays hopefully should stop, I live in Michigan and so you can only work saturday overtime 2 out of overy 3. so this was my 3, yay! a normal weekend.. not that I didn't also spend my hour or 2 i had after work doing size shinanigans as well, my next free weekend when ever that is, going to see friends and fam as i haven't had time.

rn i only get an hour or 2 at home to do things, should bump to 3 or 4 once that all happens

Ok thats enough typing, TLDR. should have more time in August, 95% chance Im going to quit this job at some point now or before 3/1/25 and work on THIS all THIS as its so exciting making stuff for you guys.
