A monthly update

As you can probably guess, this month I will not be sharing a new story, I'm sorry. The truth is, I've kinda struggled to get anything off the ground so to speak, but I did a lot of brainstorming for a couple story ideas that have been with me for a while, which lays groundwork for me to start working on them, hopefully sooner than later. In fact, I am now officially committing myself to a new project for the upcoming however long it takes, a story for Secret Trans Writing Lair Autumn Bundle. It is not an idea I had for this bundle specifically, in fact, it's been in my head for most of this year, so it's good to finally get it out. And of course, the downloads for it will be available to appropriate tiers when the bundle goes out, and it will also become available as a Google Docs link in here as soon as I start publishing the chapters on Scribblehub, which will be sometime in mid-October.

That I guess brings me to the next topic - yes, this story will have multiple chapters, as will a lot of stories I've been preparing to write. It's going to be my first time since 2020 that I start to write purposefully multi-chapter projects (there's one story that has been split into four chapters, but it was written as a single long story and the splitting was done after the fact, so I'm not counting it), and I will hopefully have more success with it, now that I have five more years of experience under my belt, which include knowledge of how I write and how to plan projects to make it most likely I'll write them. The first couple stories I write like this I don't foresee being much longer than my longer short stories, but I believe it's better to ease myself in into the unfamiliar format, so that the longer projects I have planned (including a whole book!) do not fail, as I'm pretty excited about sharing them and want them to work out.

That is all for this month, I hope the further ones will become more eventful - as much as taking breaks is important, I do not like how easy it still is for me to fall out of the writing habit for over a month like this, not to mention I want to do right by y'all who support me (which is genuinely a huge help for getting myself out of funks like this).
