Plans for January / Update #1 / Next Girl Reveal

Hello my dear supporters,

This month we got 2 videos lined up.

Premiere of the first JOI experience.

In celebration of The Witcher 4 announcement trailer, featuring our best girl Ciri, I couldn’t contain my excitement and dedicated this video to her.

The first video is “Ciri's Witcher Training JOI Challenge”

It’s a 50 minute, lore and story based experience, where you undertake the trial of becoming a Witcher. However, before that, Ciri wishes to test your endurance with a challenge of her own. Will you be able to last?

With this video I wanted to start off things at a steady pace, making the challenge manageable from the first go, learning various editing, pacing and JOI techniques along the way. However things were going so smoothly, as if making experiences like this is my second nature, and as production went on I got so captivated with the story-telling, voice, visuals, and all the possible gameplay and interactive elements that as the video was nearing it’s conclusion, in parallel: the difficulty also ramped up quite a bit. I tried sprinkling moments of respite in between, and after a few full playtests I can say that the experience is pretty well balanced. It isn’t as absurd as other JOIs that make you edge at the first 4 minutes, Ciri’s video is quite the opposite: it builds the pace steadily, although there are swings in the momentum plus introductions of various techniques to make the challenge harder. That’s why a 7 day no touching period is encouraged before every Eternal Enigma experience. All in all, if not from the first try, you’ll be able to enjoy the JOI in multiple sessions, which is a win in my book.

All of this, and I haven’t even mentioned the funscript. From play testing, I’m sure that the funscript goes with the experience perfectly. It’s varied, constantly shifting, always following the on-screen action yet constantly keeping you on the edge of your seat with all the changes in momentum as the video continues. It’s not a bland, simple up-and-down script that most, if not all of the other JOI’s have (if they do have it made). Instead of simply following along with the video, it actually goes hand in hand to further enhance and compliment the experience as a whole. I can’t wait for you to try it out, and from this point forward it only keeps getting better.

Public, Exclusive and Exclusive 4K versions of the experience will be released on Patreon on 2025-01-10, for their respective supporter tiers.

Next video

Going further down for January we got our next video lined up. Can’t reveal you much about the girl yet, but what I can tell you is that she’s also from a franchise from the creators of Ciri. I mean the game developer, not the writer, haha.

I wanted to take things easier with this one, sort of implementing all the things I did with the Ciri JOI and making it a more compact experience. Yet, when I started gathering all the materials for the video, I got so carried away with all the beautiful imagery that I ended up with more than three times the images for the Ciri video. That’s 1192 versus 390! The direction of the images is pushing me to build on and implement techniques that will surely blow your mind. From what I can see, this experience will be even bigger than the Ciri video. If not in length, then by the intensity and momentum swings alone. There’s so many surprises I can barely keep it in, but I’ll be sure to tell you more a bit later in January Update #2.

What’s next?

Following the premiere of the 2nd video, I’m immediately diving into production of the 3rd one, as the heroine, premise, type of JOI and challenges for this video are already locked in, just to keep a tight schedule as the project is going on. As work on the 3rd video continues, from here on out I will start making polls where you will be able to vote on the next girl featured in her video. There will be a pre-made selection of girls available, with the ability for you to cast your options in the comments. Make sure to vote and/or comment your favorites as that will help to grow the selection of available heroes going further!

Discord

The Discord server is in the works. I’m still learning on how to set everything up: channels, bots, moderation. Looking forward to growing this community and engaging with you further. I’ll update on the matter further in January Update #2.

Visions of the future

This 2 video a month schedule is something I’d like to aim for, yet judging by what resources it took me to produce the Ciri video I’d say… It’s doable. However, I’d have to completely shut my self off from the outside world and do nothing but produce videos. That is, if we’re talking epic, 45 minute+ videos that deliver you a complete lore-based role-playing story, with carefully selected imagery, well-placed accompanying thematic music and variating gameplay elements. That’s the level of immersion and quality I strive for and I will never sacrifice the quality of my productions, over quantity. Hopefully I find a perfect balance between the two. Also, creativity is for sure an Enigma (haha), with waves of it coming and going as the everyday life continues, so I'll do my best to keep a healthy lifestyle to keep those creative juices flowing and the videos coming your way.

Judging by how the 2nd video is coming along, I’d say 2 high-quality experiences every 1.5 months is a target I’m definitely committed to. And let’s not forget that I believe my pace will grow as I further streamline the process; learn and adapt all the new things I’m discovering as I keep making these videos. Also, the possibility of making more compact: 20 minute, 30 minute videos, and publishing them more frequently is also definitely one of my goals. Just like making 1+ hour, heck, even 2+ hours videos is something that’s in my books. If the experience is engaging from the first to the very last second, why not? I’m sure that the variability in content, as well as in it’s length, will only increase as I further hone my craft. And I didn’t even mention the various interactive elements, gameplay mechanics, styles of videos I want to create! We’re talking not only JOI’s, but also PMV’s, Hypno videos, loops and everything else.

Most importantly – I’m excited. I’m looking at the Ciri video right now, as well as the 2nd video’s open project in the works with such great passion, totally vibing to what I see on-screen and riding the waves of creativity as they take me further.

All in all, I’m very thankful to each and everyone of you for being a part of this journey and I can’t wait for you to experience what comes next.
