Modular parts
Added 2021-08-10 13:21:51 +0000 UTCBeen thinking about making modular parts for a suit head. Since I am heavily thinking of trying my hand at a mouth looker I could do some really awesome work on eyes. Was either debating magnetizing the eye socket so I can switch out parts. Or just magnetizing the eyeball itself and brow separate. This suit would be more of a proof of concept and more of a show suit since I would depart from the typical builds. Could cast the eyes in resin/or print them along with eyelids and flock them. Want to go for a theme park look or something that looks almost CG. Will keep tinkering with this idea.

I just tested out a similar concept I had! With mixed results on an older resin cast base, but hoping to make it work with my new 3D models now that I can control all the small base details more easily.
