Bunny Printed Mold & Eye Update
Added 2021-05-06 15:37:19 +0000 UTCFinished printing the bunny mold which I will be making casts of this month (still need to cover the inside with resin to create a smoother skin making it easier to pull foam). Should have raw casts available very soon. The bunny mold will also work well for smaller critter like chipmunks, squirrels and even a house cat.
Eye Update:
Quick eye update on what's going on with this head type. The first eye which I had done looked nice but the way I did it created air pockets and after a day or 2 they were very easy to see. So tested another version of the eye with a mock up creating a bit of space between the color/white area and the plastic to avoid the weird little air pockets. Will be creating a 3D print for the eye to make it easier to replicate instead of having to do it custom by hand every time I want to do eyes for this type of base. As for the 3D eyes I am still working on a mold that fits the design better as the last one I created was not exactly the angle I wanted.
