She should just bribe and threaten them instead of continuing to lose the game but I doubt her ego will let her accept defeat. I feel like somehow Jan will walk in on them and what she sees will somehow make the queen seem maternal. Possibly with the egg ending up in her hands just a moment before the door opens.
