I see. I like when anime has good visuals, but lately I've been more interested in the story. Also I'm rarely watching something for the fanservice nowadays and you can figure out why. But I might give a look at least to check the points you talked about.

2024-09-25 00:58:39 +0000 UTCAnimation is the biggest critic at the moment. Often mixing 2D with 3D animation, monsters are presented only in the latter format, which isn't too bad. However, there were a few moments when it was overdone, with constant changes of style and poorly drawn characters. Pieces of clothing or accessories that appeared and disappeared, an example of which is the scene that inspired my request: at various times Seras appeared with or without her tiara. Regarding the story, I can't say for sure: the original work is a light novel, I haven't read it, and there's also a manga adaptation, which I've read a bit, nothing so blatant so far, but it's common for works to have differences in their different adaptations. An example of this is Roshidere, where the fan-service is light in the original work - LN, the anime followed this style, but the manga focuses on considerable fan-service and adds some scenes or environments that are not in the original and anime.

I'm really enjoying the story of Failure Frame, plots of protagonists being betrayed, abandoned and returning strong in search of revenge are becoming a trend in recent years, it's a shame that the studio responsible for the animation didn't present a satisfactory work which usually ends well with the possibilities of a new season.
