To be fair I can't take shipping in One Piece seriously, as the series simply doesn't even hint at it seriously, and the only 'serious crush' (BoaxLuffy), is still mostly presented in a joking way.

But yes, One Piece can have some very over-the-top designs. Also on Robin herself - this is still an excellent work, but I prefer her pre-timeskip design. Also, her clothes change to this, while pre-time skip she rocks leather clothing like a queen.
