It's funny how time flies. There's an achievement on RR that says I've been writing Ave Xia Rem Y for two years, but it really doesn't feel like it has been that long. Similarly, this patreon has been around since August, but it almost feels like I opened it last month.
I'll admit, and this is something I have said before, that when I started the patreon, I was never expecting for people to show this level of interest in it. I'm flattered and amazed at all the support you guys have given me. That's why I want to improve the patreon experience for all of you guys.
Because seriously, blown away barely covers how I feel sometimes.
I had a few surprises planned for last year, but as you know, things happened. I have burned through more of my stock than I feel comfortable with, and I'm going to have to do it against soon enough.
I have surgery scheduled for February. The doctor wants to have me around for about a month, so getting some writing done during that time is going to be difficult. That's why right now, I'm focusing on stockpiling enough chapters so that you won't even notice if I'm not around that month.
Once that's done (which should hopefully be easier now that the holiday season is over), I'll turn my focus towards improving stuff around here.
