Kingdom performances are 100% live! The only performances not, is their introduction dances in the 1st episode. They're also done in one shot without after filming editing! It's what makes them even more impressive. This performance is a Mashup of their songs Side Effects and God's Menu. The came up with it themselves and Felix is the one who suggested the EVIL/LIVE concept that they turned into the shadow/ghost story we see. I HIGHLY recommend watching the extra BTS episodes they have on their YouTube channel. 😊

I would celebrate if you responded completely to Kingdom. because several groups compete against each other in several tasks and there are many extras. They do. Ben they sing while they perform. This was a competition so they had to. They have to practice it and learned how to breath when and when not. And for the choreography, it’s them. They do this all the time. They do have a dance teacher but just for breathing in the right time , jumping and landing save and dancing on point and at the same time.

Hyunjin was only in the introduction stage of Kingdom, he was put on "hiatus" for a supposed bully incident back in high school. ^ months he was gone! it was unfounded and we finally got him back, first appearing in the "oh" music video. They are singing live, they have stamina training, like running on a treadmill while singing.

for kingdom they were singing on top of a back track, also you can normally hear the ones with a hand mic a lot louder because of how close the mic can be to them but it’s harder to hear the ones that have a headset because the mic can’t get as close to them

Skz are known for live rapping and singing. however, Hyunjin and Felix tend to not sing live AS MUCH as the others (they still do it a lot tho) because deep voices need way air and relaxation of the vocal cords and Hyunjin's is a showman, he focusing on dance intensity and the show so he is not always stable when they have intense choreo (he sings and raps live very well when there is no choreo tho)

A considerable amount of their vocals are live. They also use backing tracks. Their mics are always on though. You can hear their breathing and little mistakes that they do and even changes to original pitch, speed, delivery etc of the original song.

You can watch all Kingdom: Legendary War episodes on Rakuten Viki!! (As well as several other Korean music shows) I'm not sure if you need a subscription to watch Kingdom, but the other music shows require a subscription to watch. On the plus side, get a monthly sub., binge to your heart's content and then cancel! Or keep going because they have ALOT of good stuff there!!! 😁😁😁

Stray Kids always has mic’s on, no matter what stage unless they notify us otherwise. The only stage they don’t sing live is the dance mayfly one, which they don’t even have mic’s. They are dedicated to bring us the best stage performance, hence they are always live. Their live vocals/rap skills are insane

they do have low level backing vocals in this because of effects on felix's vocals in parts and like the dududu when changbin is lifted, however, most of these performances were sung live, if you watch the full thing you hear the small issues, like I.N's voice crack in I'll be your man, and other mistakes from other groups, part of kingdom was to be performing live like that was a main requirement for the performances

They're 100% singing live, which is crazy. Chan explained they always sing live with the exception of having backing tracks for certain parts of certain choreos or when it's needed for the audio to be heard better. Also, if i may- do Love Song next if Seungmin is your new bias. But WOLFGANG if you wanna see Chan's abs on full display. Your choice lmao

Ben asking all the right questions. It is perfectly reasonable to have a track if you are doing a choreo heavy set. Fans need to understand that; you either get perfect dance sets or live vocals, cannot always have both.

chan actually told us in a live stream what they do and don't sing live. he said that some of their performances are pre-recorded because they do it in multiple takes, but all the live performances usually also have live vocals. I know everyone thinks for some reason that Felix can't sing and dance at the same time... But he can. His voice is naturally that deep. In fact watch some of the survival show, he talks in a more naturally deep voice.... He doesn't start talking during interviews with a higher voice til later. He is the best at controlling his vocals, because you can tell he does it just to appear more normal to people. This is my speculation but I think he is the only one at this point still using a headpiece because it works for his deep voice. If you look at Home free( america country Acapella) there bass voice has blown multiple speakers going to deep with his vocals. I think the headpiece is not manipulating his voice, just making sure we can here it and it does blown any equipment. Cause I never here about equipment problems from them. Home free has lots of yt videos about his voice blowing speakers and mics not working for him.

Skz mostly sing live but it's a mix of live vocals and letting the backing track take over when it's too difficult to do because of choreo/needing to breathe/illness etc. You can see it easily in Changbin's first rap as he takes the mic away from his face when he's not rapping. Felix's part when he's dancing with the bell is not live. It would be impossible to sound right when you're sliding around on the ground.

usually there's a back track when idols perform anyway BUT stray kids do it live. You can hear the way the back track is louder than their voices when they don't sing a word or two to catch their breaths but u can also tell when their real voices join in if u listen closely! so to answer your question yes they're singing and rapping live
