When posting WIP shots of comic pages, do you want the dialogue to be present, or leave it a mystery?

Comments

i'm personally ok with either, though i'd like the dialog a little more. but the blank spaces are fun to fill in on our own :)

Zon Tre

Leave the dialog out. it'll allow us to ask you 20million questions and speculate based off of the facial expressions that you present to the table.

As with the others, I like having the dialogue absent. It really forces me to focus on their facial expressions and what the mood of the upcoming page is going to be like. And if the dialogue was present in the WIP, I would be less inclined to look at the final colored version of the page.

I think it's better to not show the dialogue because it's always fun to imagine things. And it's cool when it actually happens in the final page.

While I enjoy making the dialogue up or reading what others have come up with, I'm terrible with surprises and always want to know beforehand. However it seems I'm in the minority here so I'll just go with the flow

Milo Smith

More fun to guess before it comes.

As curious as I am about the dialogue, I prefer leaving it out. Gives me something to look forward to when the finished page comes out. :)

I love making up the dialogue in my mind. It's like a game, and then I get to see if I'm right when the page is actually released.
