Enjoy the Darkness adds new mechanics that limit the use of your flashlight, based around the idea that flashlights are fusion-powered pre-war devices that are risky to use and are prone to emitting radiation. There are two main features, both individually toggleable and customisable in the MCM.
1. Flashlights use fusion cells as batteries.
If you run out of fusion cells, your flashlight will emit radiation.
2. Flashlights overheat after extended use.
Adds a realistic temperature mechanic so flashlights will heat up when on and cooldown when off. If they overheat, they will emit radiation.
Flashlights affect stealth
Allows enemies to see you in darkness when your flashlight is switched on. Useful with mods such as Pip-Boy Flashlight, which causes enemies to not notice your flashlight when you're in darkness.
Custom sounds
Sounds indicate when your flashlight changes status, e.g. fusion cell usage, overheating etc.
Requirements
Baka Framework - hard requirement. Used to detect when your flashlight is on.
Compatibility and load order
Just plug and play. Does not edit any vanilla records, so should be compatible with everything and load order doesn't matter.
