It's the weirdest thing. Whenever I render images on the MC's office floor at Doppler, the renders take FOREVER... even with my super-duper graphics card. Well that's not entirely true - about every 5 or 6 images I seem to get one that takes the "expected" time to render. But I've tried everything imaginable to fix this to no effect. Fortunately I shouldn't have to do too many more on this "set" (set in the sense of a movie set) and then things will speed up again. But right now I'm just plodding along until I get through it.
I've got 16 more stills on this office floor... groan! Nothing to do but get through it as quickly as possible.
