The Lap -and- Taste of Luxury - Ningguang's Grin

That smug grin she wears as she hands you a donut can only give you a hint of what her true intentions may be. Is it satisfaction, as she watches you enjoy this delicious goodness that you had politely turned down just a moment ago? Her grin remains much the same as you accept the second donut from her. It must be doubly enjoyable for her, seeing you betray your original intentions once more!

The third donut she offered you, while wearing her signature grin, gave way to new thoughts as you ate it. Clearly, she was mocking you and your repeated inability to say no to her. Ready to prove her and that grin wrong, you ate the fifth with every intent to refuse the next.

So, as you devoured the seventh, you worked on what you might say to refuse her. You gleefully downed the tenth, knowing your plan to break free from this sugary saga was so near. Alas, you were sure your words of refusal would be made clear after your fifteenth donut, but all that could be heard was your chewing.

Her grin seemed to be the same as she hand-fed you your twentieth, but again the intention was easy to reinterpret. This grin of hers was a knowing grin. It was telling you that she knows; she knows you can't refuse. Your resolve was crumbling like each sugary pastry she placed into your mouth. You considered your options, and while you couldn't seem to form the words, you simply needed to take action then!

As she approached you with your thirtieth donut, your mouth was closed. Sealed! Shut. Open? Opened wide for her to do as she pleased. That grin of hers told you what you had known but refused from the beginning: that you're hers now.
