There's only so many ways to say "Still working on it" and at the same time, I can't be spoiling everything frequently đ I'll be better about more frequent status updates, even if it is isn't much to report. 2023-04-28 16:49:34 +0000 UTCWall of text incoming, I'm sorry. I appreciate the dedicated posts for any mention about the demo or news on the overall game. I know a goalpost was set and missed. And while it had been way too long without any word about the status of the game for my liking. Even a "yep still working on it" type of post puts me as a supporter, at ease. I'll be honest I was not going to renew support this upcoming month because of the lack of any official acknowledgement of any info about the upcoming demo and the length of time that the "goalpost" had been missed by. Until this post. It's not about you as an artist or dev in particular but as a supporter that is in the fat/wg community supporting multiple games and projects from different developers. As a consumer I am going to make decisions about continuing to support projects based on the information provided to me, confidence in the project/developer, and if I feel in that moment that my continued support makes "sense" based on some of these factors. The missed demo date, lack of information, mixed with other outside factors such as, other dev projects I was supporting or still currently am, having delays, ghosting devs, cancelled or on hold projects. Can add into the overall big picture if my continued support makes "sense" to me in regard to this project in particular. You are a very active artist, with frequent posts and things for other projects, and you have a great community around you. Which you are very active in. I mean what has been said with no malice or slight towards you but hopefully as a means to help keep members like myself supporting you for your game in particular. A post on patreon, or within your discord announcements once a month or every so often that just said "yeah, it's still coming" would suffice for me as the preverbal carrot on a stick. Because I completely understand there's only so many ways you can say something is still being worked on, and I'm not a fan of spoilers or sneak peeks myself, just general word related to the project from a dev is helpful. (Since as a general supporter we have no particular idea about what's going on until the people associated with the project let us know). Anyway, text wall (rant?) done. Thanks for you and your team's hard work. I'm looking forward to it. Take care.
