So I have to admit, progress hasn't exactly been as smooth or as quick as I'd have liked this month. Originally, we wanted to get Ezmir's first build out the door by the end of this month- preferably today- but that just isn't viable at the moment. So, here's where we're at, and what we're thinking.
Ezmir's level is about 90% complete, just lacking in a few fine touches, grass, and some background elements. Ezmir himself is getting there, he's got a brain and can run around and chase after Helix, attack, and eat the kobold. A few critical animations are still missing, and in the process of being worked on and put into the game.
Vore is basically entirely functional; it's quite limited at this point, but it works!
So good news is, the first release is not far off. The bad news is, I'm going to be at MFF here soon, which is going to mean there's going to be some time where I simply will not be around to work on Ezmir at all. Though I think we could square Ezmir up before that, I really don't want to release the game and then leave for a week; I don't need that kind of stress on my shoulders and Serk doesn't need a mountain of bug reports the moment I get back. Instead, I'm going to try to get all the animations I can squared away before then, and hope that when I get back we can get the release right out the door.
Ideally, I'd like the first release on something around the 14th of December at the latest.
