Hello,
After tinkering with 3D Printer for a while I can finally show the thing I've been working on.
A completely printable ~1/625 scale post refit Fuso 'Kit Card' that could be assembled without tools and fits on a single print surface
I got the inspiration from agepbiz video of a compact, printable model and I thought making a warship one will be a fun challenge. I picked Fuso as the ship of choice because not only it has that distinct look, but are also full of details to test the capability of 3D printing.
I modeled it from the ground up in Maya and made necessary adjustments to accommodate 3D printing limitations at such small scale, but I'm also doing my best to squeeze as much detail I possibly could.
Also the model made it possible to mix and match superstructure pieces :D
Once its done, I plan to make a video walkthrough of the whole process and upload it to my channel. As for the model, it will be Patrons exclusive (for Kutuzov and above), then it will be free on MakerWorld once the next project is finished, at least that is the plan.
Finally, I'd like your feedbacks on this adventure of mine. I'm doing this because I need a timeout from WoWS and so far I have been enjoying the process because I don't have to think about that game and can focus on creating. Maybe one day I will miss the game (again), but I'm confident that this endeavor could work alongside my usual contents.
Will update again on the finished model, have a good day :)
Yuro
