Tiny Update; Goody Poll

Hi everybody, I hope you're all doing well as the advent of spring approaches! It's been very up and down over here... 🥹

After some setbacks, I think I'm in a good place with the Twine build... I just need to implement some music, bugtest the game on desktop (mainly to make sure character stats like Trouble's don't max out too fast, but also to catch any lingering pests that may have eluded me all this time), bugtest the game on mobile, upload the whole thing to itch.io, and make sure I know how that works and the whole rig is running nicely before I pass it all off to you guys. Right now I'm in the midst of very tedious image optimization so the game doesn't strain your guys' internet connections, which feels like the first time I've come up for air since... last Monday?

Anyway, I looked around and realized that the goody for this month--Chase's room concept art--is a bit late! The artist is facing some delays, though it's nearly done and just needs its finishing touches: what I've seen has been absolutely fabulous! It's also taken longer because, true to Chase, his room is extremely chaotic and myriad in all of its little details, so it's been a bit slower getting it done. I apologize for the wait! While we wait, I'd like to do a little flash poll and do another emoji for this month instead. It will all depend on the artist to see if that can get done in time, but if not, there'll just be two goodies next month!

I'm looking forward to getting back on track soon... Next month should see us return to form: cutetanuki's working on the Croelle reference sheet you guys voted for recently, we should have our regularly scheduled goody (either this or Chase's room art or both), I should have time to update the monthly short story, and the Q&A will make its (intermittent) return once things settle down more. And I'll hopefully get back to writing more story content for ShoH soon and get back to working on my novel as well! Everything's been placed on hold for this Twine conversion, and while it's been fun in a certain sense, I can't wait to have time again to unfreeze things and get back to normal!
