General 

Aside from the stuff that weakens Diminished power (I forgot the term) does Blest have any other ✨special✨ materials? Like vibrainium or mithril.

Hiya, great question!! (The anti-Diminished material is called thoret btw!) 😄

There are actually lots of special materials throughout Blest, so I'll only outline a few of them here. There's obviously the thoret, and there's actually something somewhat similar to it, referred to as "cold iron." It's a magnetic ore found deep in the earth (or sometimes even in fallen meteorites) that specifically only has an effect on Faeries and fey creatures by burning them and negating their powers. Interestingly, this effect is lost if the cold iron is smelted or worked with a furnace in any way; it has to be shaped using "cold methods" to be used as a weapon like this. Also Faerie folk don't really show up in Blest anymore, so it's fairly irrelevant, but you'll see amazingly rare cold iron weapons still floating around in museums and whatnot here and there!

There's also Ket steel, which in Kettish is referred to as en'thel-ken, and which is described in the game as being black with an almost iridescent blue edge. When forged using secret Ket techniques, it forms flawless blades that are supernaturally sharp and nigh unbreakable, excellent conductors of arma, and never chip or rust. However, because it can only be forged by using these closely-guarded techniques, it's almost useless to non-Ket, because it deforms easily and turns brittle unless worked with at very specific melting points. You could technically create armor out of this material, as well, but it would be astronomically expensive as well as unwieldy (the durability of the metal makes it not very flexible as armor, so jumping around and agility is diminished considerably. Helmets and chest plates would theoretically work, but again, super expensive for covering only that area).  

There's also the Hunters' hraqa, which is made out of a special metal that allows them to channel their grace through it. A little-known fact is that there are special methods to forge a different kind of hraqa, called a lachlind (literally "soul blade"), that is formed of the same metal, but which houses trapped exorcist energies. In other words, it passively stores a Hunter's grace and can be used by anyone, not just a Hunter, to either destroy or cleanse demonic energy. (In other words, if you were to use a lachlind blade against a regular Endarkened, it would be a one-hit KO, and if you were to used it against a possessed Thrall or an Endarkened-cursed object, the dagger would cleanse it instantaneously.) The catch is that the blade can only be used in this manner once: it only holds one "charge," so once you've expended that, it just turns into any other mundane weapon. The other reason why basically no one knows about the existence of lachlind blades is because, in order to create one, it will typically kill the Hunter powering it. So they're definitely considered ritualistic weapons and are usually only ever made when a Hunter is already dying (like if they have a terminal illness and are set to die soon anyway), which is why no outsider really knows about them. Interestingly, lachlind blades only ever come in the form of daggers or knives!

There's also zharril, more commonly referred to as "Mage crystal" or "magic crystal" in leyman's terms, which is a type of crystal prized for its ability to hold a magical charge and used as a kind of arcane battery or engine to power spell technology or larger magical workings. It's most commonly used as a "dumb" power source, whereas spell-stones (also referred to as keystones or lodestones) are conductive rocks used more for storing specific spells rather than raw energy. These were originally used by Mages to store prepared spells (similar to Archmage Tangriel's ring if you find it in Chapter 4) in case of an emergency where they ran out of the energy to perform the spell in the moment, but now can also be configured so that they can be used by non-Mages as easy one-use tools and weapons. Binders can technically turn anything into a spell-stone, including materials like glass or metal, but specific kinds of rock (anbar, tsalium, and xaphania) were originally thought to be the best and most efficient conductors for absorbing and holding magical spells. 

Like I said, there's a lot more of things like this in the world of Blest, including various different woods prized by the Elves (including sunwood and cloudwood), as well as special "substances" like Pafit wine, but maybe that's out of the scope of the question! 😂 Thanks for your question!

In theory, who would win in a fight between an overpowered!MC  versus the ROs in their peak condition? I'm wondering since Blade almost successfully killed the Autarch

Hi there, this has been asked a few different times before! It's a difficult question to answer because it really depends on your MC and the circumstances of the fight: even an "overpowered" Healer or Diviner MC would probably be bested in a fight against Blade or Briony in their peak condition, or a sword-wielding MC might still be outshot by Trouble, etc.! It's really impossible to say because all MCs are so different. :) Hope that makes sense!

What is guaranteed to make the Ros + Halek smile?

Blade: This is kind of lame, but I'm not sure anything is guaranteed to make that man smile, he smiles so rarely! Sometimes he smiles at jokes, and sometimes he just stares at you flatly (even if he actually found the joke funny). Sometimes he smiles when petting a dog, and other times he thinks he's smiling and it just looks like he's staring seriously or deep in thought. Lol. I guess romanced!MC turning to him, smiling, and saying "I love you" during a quiet moment of peace would be a guarantee!

Trouble: Seeing children playing innocently in the street. A friendly dog or cat coming up to say hello. A funny joke told by a comrade (even if the joke wasn't that funny and was more an attempt to relax a tense situation). The sight of his friends waiting for him around a good meal or a nice tall glass of beer!

Tallys: The sight of people dancing or singing, with cheerful music in the background (bonus points if it's nostalgic Elvish music). The sight of lovers clasping each other in an embrace as she walks by. 

Shery: A cute animal. A friendly embrace or gesture of affection, like patting her on the head or shoulder. Tasting something she finds delicious. Praise or congratulations of any kind! 

Riel: The satisfaction of a contract well negotiated and an excellent deal being made in his favor... Dominating his enemies in a clear and decisive move LOL

Chase: Someone laughing at one of his jokes or stories!

Red: Finding a rare book he's always wanted in great condition. Hearing someone passionately and enthusiastically talk about something they're interested in. 

Ayla: Someone sincerely thanking her for her help. She may not smile directly in that moment and may instead act tough or dismissive, but she's always guaranteed to smile to herself when she thinks of it later!

Briony: Seeing young love, interesting or new and exciting sights, seeing others have a good time or seeing her friends waiting for her. Also, seeing the ocean!

Lavinet: Being complimented or flattered! Even if it's coming from someone she doesn't like, she'll still smile, albeit venomously/insincerely!  

Halek: The prospect of trying a new food or dish, or admiration at someone else's skill in composing a really good meal! Also, ribbing his brother never fails to cheer him up. 

The RO's (+ Halek, Croelle, Caine, Mimir and Prihine aswell if you wish!) 'heart/soul' (emotions/feelings, love/affection) is turned into one physical object/any form or shape that bests represents them, what is it? How protective are they of it, how trusting are they of letting others touch/hold it?

Ooh, this is such an interesting question, how did you even come up with it?? It's so creative! 😂 I really had to think hard about this one... 🤔 Maybe some are a bit obvious, I went with physical objects since we covered animals/daemons here! 

Blade: a knife. Hidden sides to him, with a sharp edge, meant to either kill things or defend them, could be a tool or a weapon. Extremely protective of it and wouldn't even show it to others, let alone handle it! He'd probably keep it hidden on his person at all times!

Trouble: a ring (a simple gold band). Easy to spot, honest, meant to stick with you at all times: a constant companion. He'd wear it openly, either on his finger or strung around his neck over his clothes, and he'd probably easily let trusted friends handle it or even wear it for good luck, but not strangers. 

Tallys: an opaque potion bottle with dark green glass. You can't tell what's inside it: a healing draught or a poison. She would let people see it from afar if they asked, but she wouldn't let them touch it or open it. 

Shery: a stuffed animal. Brings comfort and a feeling of warmth and wellbeing to others, but handle with care. She'd keep it in her room, but she'd allow anyone who asked to give it a squeeze (though she'd be slightly anxious all the while). 

Riel: a timepiece. Precise, exacting, detailed, and one of the most complicated and intricate devices you can think of. He wouldn't let anyone touch it and would probably even have a decoy just to throw people off the scent!

Chase: a lock. Seems plain and unassuming on the surface, but inside is complex and surprisingly delicate; will only open up under the right circumstances. He'd put on a big show of how he doesn't care if you handle it or touch it, you can do anything you want! (But he'd get real nervous if you wanted to use a key to try and open it.)

Red: a spyglass. Made for gazing at faraway and unimaginable things, but you have to be careful not to get too lost in it, or you'll miss what's right in front of you. He'd let people look through it however much they liked!

Ayla: a compass. It may seemingly waver and spin crazily, but ultimately it knows what it's pointing towards. She'd let people look at it, but probably would get antsy about them holding/touching it and would probably quickly snatch it back. 

Briony: a hair ribbon. Symbol of friendship that ties people together as well as keeps up appearances under pressure, allowing her to get her hands dirty when she has to. You can touch it or even borrow it all you like, just be sure to give it back to her in one piece! 

Lavinet: a gold necklace (of a rose). Looks pretty and fragile, but is surprisingly resilient as well as steadfast, classic, and timeless. You could touch it if she trusts you, but you can't wear it. 

Prihine: a perfume bottle. Could serve to mask something; could hold an enticing scent or something overbearing and distasteful depending on the contents as well as the strength of the dose. She'd never let you touch it and would keep it hidden away in her room. 

Halek: a spool of twine. Most people think of it as fishing lure, but he sees it as something that binds. He'd let you handle it, just don't unravel it or snip any off for yourself, there's little enough of it as it is!

Mimir: a mirror. It's cracked and flecked with black. She'd let you handle it, but you're probably not going to see much in it that makes any sense... 

Croelle: a gun, dangerous, obvious, and intimidating. He'd probably flaunt it and make it clear to all that it is his soul object, but almost in a way that's daring them to try and handle it. He'd probably kill somebody before he allowed anyone to handle it. 

do the shepards like spicy food? what is the “weirdest” food they like? +halek and caine please!! 

Blade: he's pretty indifferent to spicy food, he neither seeks it out nor is bothered by it! He tends to like salty/umami flavors more than either spicy or sweet... I don't think any of the food he likes would really be considered weird, unless you count the fact that he can survive off of like military rations and dried jerky for a distressing amount of time 😭

Trouble: he likes spicy food if he happens to be served it, but he doesn't deliberately seek it out or prefer it over other dishes! (In other words, he likes it, but it's not his favorite.) Weirdest thing he likes is probably all of the different sandwich combinations he's tried when hungry, desperate, or bored. Strawberry jam with cured meat and cheese on sourdough is one, or tuna and cranberry sauce! He doesn't get, like, disgusting with it, but it's a little unusual!

Tallys: she's okay with spicy food, she doesn't have much of it and isn't like a raving fan, but she won't complain if it's served to her! Weirdest thing she likes is probably breaded sweetbreads! 

Shery: she can't tolerate spicy food at all and isn't a big fan of it! I can't think of anything she likes that would be considered weird in the world of Blest, honestly, she's a pretty standard eater!

Riel: he'll pick away at spicy food for appearance's sake, but he's not a fan of it and it definitely upsets his stomach! It's probably a bottom-tier type of food for him, honestly. The weirdest food he likes is probably liver-based dishes like foie gras and pate! 

Chase: he likes spicy food, again, it's not like his favorite or an obsession, but he likes it! The weirdest food he likes is probably his favorite: pumpkin eel curry!

Red: he tolerates spicy food decently well; he likes a bit of chili or a kick as a garnish to his dishes every once in a while, but he doesn't want it all the time or to overwhelm the flavor profile! Whatever he scrounges up from the pantry late at night when he's accidentally skipped three meals can get pretty weird... sometimes you'll find him just eating like 5 sweetrolls and a raw tomato or something like that

Ayla: she LOOOOVES spicy food. She's like obsessed with it and can't get enough of it! She's the person who's in the restaurant like MAKE IT SPICIER. MAKE ME CRY. Weirdest thing she likes is probably chili peppers fried in garlic and dark chocolate! That's like an obscure street dish that's served in Jalis, not something of her own invention, but it's pretty rare to come across even there! 

Briony: she doesn't like spicy food and avoids it as much as she can! The weirdest food she likes is probably sea devil pasta, which, in culinary terms, is not that weird in Blest, but conceptually is kind of weird (sea devils are basically super aggressive lobsters that torpedo through ships and are about the size of large dogs or horses).

Lavinet: she's okay with spicy food, but it's not her favorite. The weirdest food she likes is probably a variety of rich people food, like game pies or pheasant terrines or something like that!

Halek: he tolerates spicy food really well and handle quite a lot of heat, but the irony is that he HATES spicy food because he's so sick of it: Hunter cuisine is ubiquitously very spicy, and he's bored of that taste! The weirdest food he likes is probably the Blest version of escargot

Caine: he tolerates spicy food fine and is okay with eating it every once in a while, but it's not something he actively seeks out! I can't think of much that he likes that would be considered that weird... unfortunately, he does know what horse tastes like, but he didn't enjoy the experience 😔

*Don't want to imply that traditional French food is weird because I mentioned it a bit in this list (I actually love most of the things I mentioned too LOL); obviously "weird" is relative, so someone might think Red being into roast pork belly is a bit unusual, but for me (Asian household) it's stupid mundane, so obviously this list is limited in that way, haha!

Since many ponies were conceived as toys before they became characters on the show, they are often named after their cutie marks. What would happen if Shery meets her old bullies again? Would they bully her more for working with diminished or would they like pretend to be her friends now that she's close friends with several high ranking officers in the Shepherds? What if she's dating/married to the Commander Legate.

This is big, big spoilers, so look away if you want to go into Shery's route blind, but this actually happens in the game... 😅 Her biggest childhood bully signs up as a Shepherd recruit! 🥹 Which is very distressing for Shery, but she doesn't feel like she has a right to say anything because... would you tell your boss that a new coworker bullied you as a twelve-year-old and want them to be held accountable/fired for that?... Luckily, MC is pretty much her boss and can make that call if you weasel this information out of her, but it's more complicated because the bully is now an adult and seems like a nice person who wants to be friends with Shery now!!! 🤔 Anyway, I'll leave the details of what that looks like and how it all goes down for the game, but just wanted to say that this exact scenario does happen, and the bully is much more fawning and respectful of Shery because of who she knows... 😅 So your mind went exactly where I was going with it all, lol!

What was the Voices’ reaction if MC used a Word for Landsmeet?

It depends on how many you had left, honestly! If you basically didn't use any WOPs for the Faceless Lords, it would have been a begrudging "..........fine" and "............yeah okay I guess that's fair" but if you've been cashing them in like drink tickets at a high school reunion, they were super pressed about it, like "NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DIDN'T WE JUST SAY.... YOU HAVE TO SAVE THEM... YOU'RE GOING TO R U N O U T we're going to have to start this whole thing over again aren't we ahhhhh"

is there anything that the WOP can’t do?

There are lots of things the WOPs can't do, but I can't say it obeys any particular kind of logic or ruleset, it's kind of just like a vibes thing? It's sort of like miracles in the Bible where like hey you could walk on water or come back from the dead or but you can't travel back in time 500 years and stop Adam and Eve from leaving the Garden of Eden!... if that makes any sense. I can definitively say that the WOP wouldn't allow one to time-travel or do something on, like, a planetary scale, like draining the oceans or blowing up the whole planet or anything like that! Other than that, I like to keep it a bit obscure and vague, since MC doesn't really understand the nature of it themselves; it's kind of like defining godhood itself and its limitations or lack thereof, which is hard to do!

Is there going to be a point in time where, after confirming a romance route, the MC and the RO have to go to Blade like ‘so about that no fraternization rule… 😅’. if so, what will Blade's response be (and will it be different for each RO?).

Looking at my current timeline of things, I don't think it will be a scene that happens on-screen in the game, since MC and their RO keep the relationship between themselves (or at least think they do) right up until just before the endgame starts, and at that point there wouldn't be time for Blade to pull them aside and discuss fraternization policies with them LOL, so it's probably something that happens after the main timeline of the game (or in DLC)! 😂 (Unless you're dating Blade himself, in which case, it's heavily discussed. 😭) I think it would be slightly different for each companion, like he'd give Trouble a way harder time about it (*stare* why. why are you making my life harder.) and be more sympathetic or professional with Tallys or Shery, but ultimately he's going to pinch his nose and let out a long, long-suffering breath and then lay down all of the things that would have to happen to make this at all okay, and only once he has full faith that MC and RO are going to handle this with integrity and professionalism and not make his life a million times harder by opening up the floodgates with tons of PDA and favoritism will he begrudgingly relent. Because he wants his friends to be happy, and did not foresee this happening when he first instituted his policy (mostly because he didn't think he was going to have friends, just subordinates) and also because he knows he's going to eventually be outvoted by Riel and MC (or whoever is Commander Legate) anyway, but by god will he put them through weeks of bureaucracy as punishment for it. If there's going to be fraternization in the Shepherds, then they're going to have to spend time helping him figuring it out and laying out the legalese and paperwork and tedious HR safeguards for it, not go swanning off to snog while he does all of the dirty work for them!!!

How would the Shepherds act in a situation involving aphrodisiac.

Like say, the MC accidentally ate a strong aphrodisiac that makes them be very uncomfortable until they have had sex, which shepherd would be willing to do so in... let's say late-ish crushing stage? In this scenario the MC would be consenting. (Crushing stage because I assume in the relationship stage most, if not all, would be down.)

So, in a scenario being where MC is literally begging for sex and will be extremely uncomfortable unless they have it, I think it would shake out to:

Blade: wouldn't be willing to, not only because he wouldn't want their first time to be under those circumstances (like they'd have sex with anybody, Blade just happened to be the one close by, etc.) and he would be skeptical that MC is really in their "right mind," but also because he knows the aphrodisiac will wear off eventually, but the regret and embarrassment MC might feel (he presumes) after the fact wouldn't...

Trouble: wouldn't be willing to, for pretty much the same reasons as Blade (wouldn't want their first [or only] memory of sex to be under those circumstances)

Tallys: enthusiastic yes, but she might be more focused on just pleasuring MC to help them out rather than having sex where they both get off (unless MC insisted, in which case... yeah lol)

Shery: in a crushing stage?? I think she'd literally pass out if MC begged her like this LOL no way is she going through with that! 

Riel: he's already researched this aphrodisiac and knows you only have to hold out for an hour or so (or knows the antidote to alleviate the effects) lol. It's like MC's about to beg him for sex and he's already pulling out the counter-potion LMAO

Don't rip off his shirt like that, those buttons are expensive and he won't be wearing a darned shirt! 

Chase: he's undressing languidly, at his leisure, though he's typically more focused on undressing his partner for his visual enjoyment first! His own clothes are discarded with discreetly and without fanfare while he's keeping them busy with other distractions!

Red: it depends on the circumstances, but he tends to be so focused on his partner (and undressing them) that he has to be reminded or nudged to take his own clothes off, in which case he basically fumbles his way out of them without ceremony (all while still busy kissing MC as much as humanly possible)

Ayla: she rips her clothes off with savage fury like she's mad at them for keeping her from skin-to-skin contact for this long

Briony: she's shedding her clothes with quick efficiency, flinging them behind her wherever they'll land!

Lavinet: she's undoing the laces of her dress with unbearable slowness, more as a method of seduction and building anticipation than out of any real concern for the state of her clothes! She probably is the one who "undresses" in the sexiest way possible out of the whole group!

As for whether MC giving them intense bedroom eyes changes anything, I imagined these scenarios as MC already doing so, so I don't think anything changes too much except for small details (hands shaking if it's been a long time, etc.)!

As for your question, I'd recommend looking at past Q&As, since a lot of their kinks and sexual fantasies are covered there, especially in the NSFW alphabet asks from years back! I'll also say that some of the ROs don't really have "a single sexual fantasy" or scenario that they'd want to fulfill with MC; many just fantasize about having sex with MC, but the details aren't really like this secret "I really want to do that specific thing with them". So what I mean to say is that many don't harbor this secret kink or specific wish that they hope to fulfill, it's just like a thing that's sexy to think about sometimes? Maybe that seems terribly vanilla, but I think it's authentic to the characters! 😂

That being said, here are some random fantasies that they may have, but most aren't a "this is my #1 thing that I need to happen," it's more of a "this is what I most commonly fantasize about when thinking about sexy times or getting off" but, like Ayla's thing with threesomes, it's not something that necessarily needs to be translated into reality and might be sexier just staying in the realm of fantasy! 

Blade: when he fantasizes about having sex with MC, it's often in the context of like being out in the wilderness, camping together and making love under the stars! Which is random to him because he's never given much thought to that in particular? 😂

Trouble: I think he'd be interested in being tied up and teased by MC, and that's something he's vaguely interested in exploring if they want to, but it's not a full-blown kink or fantasy by any means!

Tallys: I think having sex in a semi-public setting would be of definite interest to her and something she's fantasized about, but it depends on the circumstances (discreetly going at it in a closet where you could get caught or having a quickie during a couples' massage when the massage therapist steps out for a moment or having sex in a hotel room where other people could clearly hear = yes, banging with the curtains open and everyone in HQ can see you from the ground floor = no)!
