🍻 November Theme: TAVERN!

Now, with the October release done and the collaboration released, it's time to talk about November! πŸ˜€

While we are waiting for the last 13 patrons to join before we can unlock Loyalty Rewards (wink wink), what are your thoughts on which models you want me to include in the November release?

What kind of tables do you want? What type of bar counters? Any food your heroes crave in their adventures? It's time to expand the Dining topic with a brand new tavern experience! :D

Fair enough!

Thank you so much!!!! I was a bit slow on replies today, was kind of shocked when MMF informed me I will basically have 0 chances of getting into their Featured list now. So will have to figure out other ways of growing my patrons numbers D:

You deliver creative, beautiful (and useful) sets again and again. If anyone can deliver a beautiful fantasy tavern, it's you. ;) Keep on doin' what you do! :)

Thank you, Rob, for always believing in me :D I won't disappoint 😊

Will think about it! I'm definitely making some kegs and mini kegs for it, though!! :D

Elvin is more likely than me changing my category from fantasy to sci-fi πŸ™ˆ But like Rob mentioned below, I'm sure I can make this Tavern remarkable and different from the standard ones that are offered everywhere!

Ooooooo thank you so much for the links! I do remember the Monster Hunter! Never went there further than the basic meals, though, but canteens they had were incredibly cute! And no, no realistic route D: Exotic plates worth of a feast are much much better!

Mini-chest for gold sounds nice :D Not sure about the rugs and carpets, considering the amount of drinks constantly being spilled on the floor, those rugs would be soaking wet πŸ˜‚

There's plenty of tavern/inn terrain pieces in the market. But most of them are the typical square-ish/straight design. I'd like to see some truly fantasy-inspired designs with interesting curves and embellishments.

As far as tables go, I usually see tavern furniture using traditional 4 legged tables or picnic table style tables. I would like to see a table consisting of a keg holding up a round tabletop.

I would love some modern tavern to go with sci-fi i.e. pool table darts big screens etc maybe Steam punk style and or Elvin style elegant things as the average medieval tavern has been done a lot.

The way I imagine it you have three style choices. Could go the realistic route where only basic foods are offered and its all a pretty gross experience. Here’s a video on that: https://youtu.be/zpUyJx2RurE The modern fantasy route which is more like a restaraunt and bar connected to a modest hotel heavily inspired by Tolkien’s descriptions of Hobbit fare. Folks have done that plenty though. Or the more Monster Hunter World route. Elaborate fantasy feasts worthy of a Ghibli movie for a single person, which would be fun to paint and evoke scenes you just want to slip into, that you can almost smell. To link a fun pair of videos illustrating the point, because why not: https://youtu.be/XesCTqVdDjM https://youtu.be/__qtH1ly2Sg

Some fur rugs or carpets be cool, a safe or some sort of trapped locked mechanical chest for the taverns deposits be cool for any campaign. Medieval mechanical bull? Lol. Will this tavern need some hay bails to throw the drunkards on outside to sleep it off when they get to unroly inside? A good wall hearth is always cozy. Or is this tavern going to be more in the sticks so a fire trough be more likely to help heat and light the place without burning through candles. Card hands and decks and games be cool for tables to entertain. Do they ever let the bards play or do they have a band? Is this a place for the common folk or is it for the higher end? Or is this a place in the slums and the bar tender has to keep a weapon mounted under the bar incase of issues? Will it have archways or trusses and beams? Because you can fo all sorts of wall decore tapestries netting furs depending on theme. Is there a special drink there? Cause that could be either a nice tap pour style in the back or is it something more elaborate something that entrances onlookers with strange tubes and colors like some sort of alchemist set.
