Why I do not collaborate with many Youtubers
Added 2022-01-23 14:18:27 +0000 UTCA lot of you have asked me to reach out to other youtubers and collab with them. Or asked me why I do not collab with more creators. The truth is that I do speak to other creators, and had creators reach out to me for collabs requests, but those go nowhere. And there is only one reason for this.
I used to be an anti-SJW youtuber. During that time I made a couple of angry tweets that are very regretable. This may have been many years ago, but the nature of the internet is such that things are never really let go.
So, every time a creator reaches out to me and asks for a collab, I explain this to them. I inform them in full over all the bad stuff in my past. And I warn them that being publicly associated with me, may be used against them by some in an attempted canceling. Consequently, many decline.
I do not want other creators to be harmed for my past actions. So I feel oblidged to do this.

No one acting in good faith would hold someone "responsible" for a Collab with someone whose been a dick years ago. Are those people taken seriously anyway? I mean just turn off twitter and ignore them. It's not like they are nearly as influencentual as they think they are.
