The Origins of the Greek debt crisis

This paid post contains the audio (with music) for the upcoming video on the origins of the Greek debt crisis, and the origins of the corruption within the state structures of Greece.

You will also find here an invite to the work server of the video, you will be able to follow the work process. Here is the invite: https://discord.gg/XvDrA5Wx

You will still get early access to the video once it is finished. Meaning you will get to watch it a week before it is actually published.

Thank you for allowing me to make this post. I promise the video will be finished within the first 1-2 weeks of December.

PS: This may be the last paid post. Due to frequent requests by you, I may change my Patreon to monthly payouts.

this culture of not paying tax why should we bother helping these states with our tax money? I can imagine germans feeling very angry towards the greeks with this

The Discord invite doesn't work.

This video leaves me wanting an analysis of the mechanisms/popular movements/culture or tactics that countries have used to fight against corruption. It seems so easy to backslide into this negative feedback loop of clientelism, but there have to be case studies of breaking the mold and building a more incorruptible state/society/community. Is anyone else interested in hearing that topic?

I would be perfectly fine with monthly payout, personally. I know that you're reliable and regular with your uploads, even if they take more time to produce. I would be more than willing to support a monthly billing schedule, even if it means less than monthly uploads. Your content is great and worth supporting, and I want videos that have long development times and high effort to be supported as much as shorter, lower effort videos. You've demonstrated morality and transparency with your content, and you're one of the few creators I can say that I trust to be responsible with any money I send your way. I don't mean this lightly, the level of integrity that you have demonstrated is astounding, and I hope that you continue to create content far into the future.

Keep up the good work!

All good just thought I should let you know :)

Oh no.... I am sorry. I forgot to add in the clip of what he said :(

Is it just me or was there nothing but a long pause when you said something along the lines of “I asked a friend what he thinks about this whole Greek economy dealio and he said…………” near the end of the audio?

If somewhere we can say that boomers broke the economy its so clear in Greece

Yetipotato

Your explanation is way better than the one my history teacher gave me. His explanation boiled down to the Greeks being lazy, but I suspected there had to be a long-term answer to their state's inefficiency.

“Seized the means of corruption” lol
