I think I'm burnt out.

I feel awful and stressed out almost constantly. My dayjob will soon knock me out with 12 hour shifts for a few weeks. Then I will have to renovate a kitchen. I don't know if I am actually burnt out, or just dreading the enormous mountain fo work that is ahead of me. But chances are, that I may be completely exhausted after November. We will see how things go. But I may be taking December and Jannuary off youtube, and possibly the internet all together. Obviously I wont be charging you for anything in those months. I'm just thinking of doing something very relaxing for a week, like going to a spa, or on one of those cheap beach holidays in Greece. Just something to put my mind off things that stress me and relax a little.

Take care of yourself dude!

Live to fight another day! :)

Good idea. Have a good rest! I have huge issue with stress and depression. Personally, I feel with stress it is important not to feel guilty when trying to relax. For me it was super hard to learn to relax. Do not make your plans to rigid and give yourself space.

ngl this looks like it's shaping up to be a lesson in pacing yourself in your work and just like self care, and like yeah stuff, cuz y'all started out like "i can just coffee through this for 2 years straight or something yeah" but that's not how work works and y'all gotta take care of yourself.

If you charged more for sponsorships, couldn't you just go full time with Kraut? Many creators are earning $20 per thousand views... from your previous posts you're clearly earning a fair bit less. Maybe figure that out...? Is there anything specific stopping you going full time besides money?

I will guess you are struggling over the decision on what to do. I assume you don't have an easy choice. I have burnt out several times during my life. I took off four months one time and a year another. I have never been sorry about either of those. Your results might vary.

You do you bud.

Take as long as you need.

No worries!

Hey, take your time. You mental health is important! My suggestion; Do not make any time estimates when your back. Its done when its done and two weeks holidays are better :) This year I had the first depression in my life after working too much for the last two years. It was very sudden, very unpleasant and a lot of work to get out. At the low point i could only lie in bed with anxieties, only distracted by some panic attacks. Even my wife just calmly talking to me stressed me out. I am back on track now and feel good again, but i am still not sure if there is any irreversible damage done. In retrospect i should have just invest more in my mental health and off-time. And especially take work, any external commitments and the calendar less serious :)

You work so hard, you definitely deserve a break. Don't feel bad about burning out, it happens to everyone! Nothing a little R&R can't fix.

Yah go for it mate!
