Anti Asian Racism
Added 2021-02-27 23:54:59 +0000 UTCI have by now received a lot of emails, comments and messages by Asian subscribers who are angry about the depiction of Asian countryballs with slits as eyes. As some of you may know it is part of the polandball rules on various forums and subreddits that Asian countryballs are depicted that way. However to people who are new to polandball this can be extremely offputting or just outright racist. And to be very frank with you, the several emails I have received about this at this point, in particular from subscribers from Korea, Indonesia, and the Phillippines, have made it clear to me that it certainly does matter to a lot of my subscribers, and that I should care for them. I have therefor decided to stop drawing Asian countryballs in this style. I don't know what I will replace the style with yet, but I will. I possibly might do a poll on my main channel on which style to use.
