The Congo Dilema

I have now been doing this for a while (basically i dedicated a few hours of each day to reading books, and so now i read the Congo books) and encountered a problem. This is a HUGE topic. Massive. Fascinating. And very very very Interesting. And it consequently poses a problem that we need to discuss.
The Congo as a topic is far better for a long video (1-2 hours long) than a short one.
So... do move Congo from WIP to ice and reclassify it as a long topic?
Should I continue trying to make it a short one?
Do we vote for another short video topic?
Or what else do we do?
Please let me know in your responses.
