Rowan Chapter Progress

I finished the first Alpha build for Rowan's Chapter 1 last night! That means it's in a fully playable state, albeit with some placeholder assets and incomplete sound design. Usually I save the sprite choreography for the Beta, but I managed to complete that too!

So what's left to do to get it ready as a Beta build for our Beta Tester Tier? Art, mostly, along with coding menus and some thorough playtesting. That's what we'll be focused on in November, and we'll try to get it all ready as soon as we can!

With the chapter set up in Ren'Py, we now know the word count for Rowan's content: 34,706! That's equivalent to Jessie and Grace's Chapter 3, or Marion's Chapter 4... except that it's nested in Chapter 1, which means that the full chapter with the existing content will read much longer!
