With just a few weeks away to release, we're in crunchtime to get everything polished and ready for launch! Today I want to show you another overhauled menu: the new Navigation, now called "Story Branches." Check out the image gallery above, then read on!
Where the original Table of Contents was fairly linear, the revamped design depicts the plot's branches more clearly - and more literally! You, the player, grow the branches on the tree as you play through more of the game. Selecting the chapter buttons that appear on the tree will show you the chapter's segments on the sidebar on the right. And selecting the tree's blossom's will display the endcards you've seen!
The sidebar is designed to make it easy to visualize and navigate the plot tree. As before, you can navigate to any chapter segment you've seen by simply clicking the desired title. Branches and endings not yet unlocked are now identified in the list, and clicking the question mark button will provide a hint on how to reach them!
Also updated is the Achievements menu, which now features a much wished for Easter Egg menu equivalent! The new Easter Egg menu explains how Easter Eggs are triggered, keeps track of the ones you've found, and offers valuable hints on where the others remain hidden. We hope this makes the whole Easter Egg system more accessible for new and returning players alike!
