Hi Folks,
Here is the latest episode of Straight from the Desk!
This time, we will be painting the bat-snouted vampire bust
from BDWS Studio.

As mentioned in the last post, in this episode, we will finally have a look at a super cool method to create random dots and mottled skin - the dead leaf stencil!

We will also see how much we can do with contrast paint and how versatile you can use them for all kinds of painting techniques.
The bust is a bit more of a standard vampire character, and not quite as exotic looking as the other busts of the set.
When we think of a certain topic, or sub-niche in miniatures(like bat-snouted vampires), there are always paint jobs that will stand out for you.
Those that pop up before your inner eye the moment you think of it.
For bat-snouted vampires, Kirill Version of Karol Rudyks Miniatures Dimitri does that!

I wanted to make sure to create something different, so I approached the skin and the highlight and shadow direction in a completely different way than him. But I also created red glowing eyes as a hommage to Kirill's wonderful work.
Alright, I hope you enjoy this video!! And as always... thanks for your support!
