Hi Guys and Girls,
here is the chapter for the robot arm!
Hope you enjoy it, while i am busily painting my yellow space marine..
Also the long awaited part of the sword blade will be released by the end of this week and this will conclude the in depth video series for Hank the anti robot squad sergeant.

Hey Roope, thanks a lot! I prime my models in 99% of the time with a spay can. I use games workshop chaos black first and the corax white from above. I prefered the Skull white a lot more and i think in the future i might switch to Tamyia fine surface primer for the lighter coat because the corax white gets a little dusty.I think it just needs a little practise to get it right with the can.

Thanks for the amazing videos! I'm learning so much every time. I was trying to find out how you prime your minis? That pre-shading/highlighting on the arm brings the details out brilliantly. I sometimes have problems with black primed minis in that I can't see the details unless I dry brush it with a dark grey. If I could achieve this with priming it would be great. Is it just black primer and a white zenithal primer on top`? I seem to get too much white on my minis when I try this, but I guess it's just a matter of learning the proper techique. Or maybe this is difficult to achieve with spray primers? Which primers do you use and do you air brush or spray?

Thanks a lot Paul! Yes.. it´s done intentionally. Sometimes when i want to feather out colors on a larger surface i place a thin film of water just next to the actual spot where i want my color. This allows me to drag out the pigments avoiding the coffee stain like marks.

Quick question... when you are about to feather in a lighter tone to punch up the metallic contrast at 8:20, I noticed you got the surface a little wet with the back of the brush before starting to feather the color in... was that intentional? Or a slight slip that didn't matter since you were gonna feather anyway? I ask because sometimes when I feather, the paint dries too fast and I end up with some rings I need to clean up (not usually a problem because subsequent layers take care of that anyway). But it never occurred to me to use the back of the brush to help that transition before I even put down any paint from the tip of my brush. Beyond that... thank you so much for all your lessons and sharing your insight and skills with the rest of us. Your lessons alone have helped me improve my painting beyond a brick wall that's held me in stasis for years! =)
