First post of the month! yaaay!!
This release includes:
🎮 Split up verison
🎮 Precolored 3MF version
🎮 Keychain with 3MF
This is a fun and quick little container to store your things, the split up version is great if you rather print and then glue together, the 3MF version of the Lid is great if you rather print it all at once.
The tolerance of the lid should be tight enough that the lid does not slide off once placed in, you might see that the more you use it the easier it will be to open and close, from personall experience I found that even after repetitive use, and the lid becoming looser I was able to keep it in place by pushing it tight against the top. I don't recommend printing the lid with a brim as that might make it more difficult to slide into the container. If you are having a hard time with getting it to fit, rubbing a bit of sand paper on either side of the lid will help!
I have made a quick youtube short of putting the split up version together. The glue i used in this was too thick and was making a bit of a mess, I recommend going with a thinner glue, the brand I used was Gorilla glue.
Edit to add: I got a suggestion for a blank screen! so i added it to the zip! If you want a blank screen version just redownload it from the download post 🥰🥰

Should I scale the case down slightly? Making these for party favors for my son's bday party this weekend, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

2024-05-10 00:29:25 +0000 UTCthat sounds awesome!! if you have discord you can post it there!! the tolerances will increase as you scale models up for sure! If your wanting to attempt it again you can scale the lid 2% smaller then the bottom part and that should make it better!

2024-05-05 13:17:40 +0000 UTCHas anyone tried to print this at 150% no matter what I did the base was either faulty or didn't stick to the bed. I tried several plates and no luck. I have just put it back to 100% and it's printing fine. The lid was ok at 150% but not the back

2024-05-02 21:04:20 +0000 UTCNot necessarily blank, but that does provide options. I flat version with all the eyes, mouth and buttons integrated into it. I know that not everyone has an AMS but this can also be done with Z-hop (I did this on my Enders). I make a lot of light boxes where the light box has the details imbedded into the design, this would be the same concept where the first few layers have all the colors changes then the rest is a single color. This keeps it flat and lets some of the neat PEO/PEY build plates designs really pop.
