I am really enjoying watching this with you three, I'm an old lady, so having reactors that get more of the references in the show, is great! Umm, not that you're old, like me. Most don't get the Back to the Future Reference (younger reactors). Anyhoo.. thank you. Oh, I also realized that my cat is watching me, watching Answer, watching Appleton and Mason watch Ted Lasso. Trippy.

The actors in this show are incredible. You mentioned Rebecca's actress being so emotive with her expressions, and then also Jamie's actor is fantastic at making audiences dislike him as an antagonistic personality. It's almost hard to believe he isn't like that in real life.

Others have already explained that Richmond and Manchester City are both in the Premier League, which is the highest level in English football. They've also explained how bigger clubs often loan out their members to other teams to let them gather experience and training while they're on the way up. The info I'll give is by way of analogy: In this situation, Manchester City is like the NY Yankees versus most other MLB teams. The Yankees are not necessarily the best team every year. They don't win the World Series every year. But they've got the MONEY every year. They've got the news coverage every year. If they have a bad season this year nobody in the world is going to say "I wonder if maybe they'll fold or move to a different city". That's the difference in scale from where Richmond is. Richmond may be playing in the big leagues, but they're still in a whole different league. ----- I love Jamie's story at the end because it serves as a perfect explanation, but not an excuse. We now get why he acts the way he does, but even Ted calls it just starting to break through to him. He's still a prick and he's been rude and mean to everybody before, but now we understand why.
