However, I played the games back to back, so maybe my opinion would be different if I had been playing the first game for 7 years before part 2s release. It's cool to see how the game has spurred such a variety of opinions and emotions amongst people, I can't wait to see what the guys think.

2025-03-11 18:14:01 +0000 UTCI really hope yall play part II in between season 2 and season 3. The ending of the game is so intense, I was sobbing for 2 hours after it was over. I think it would be a mistake to not experience that “spoiler free” when you do play it. If you wait until after you see the tv version play it out, I really think it’ll take the gut punch out of the actual game itself, which deserves its flowers, especially because the game was review bombed and trashed when it came out and still gets flack.

2025-03-11 14:02:08 +0000 UTCPart 2 is a masterpiece and my favorite video game ever, followed very closely by Part 1 - I am both nervous and excited for this season. I just hope they get it right! And about Part 3 of the game - there is a conflicting rumor to what Neil said the other day, saying that Part 3 is actually far into development already. I don't know for sure, but I honestly think Neil is bluffing. He wants attention on Naughty Dog's new game IP coming soon, Intergalactic, and they also don't want to take attention away from season 2 of the show. Naughty Dog has a lot of employees and only about 250 of them are working on Intergalactic. So what is everybody else doing? I think its probably TLOU3. I think news of Part 3 will come after Intergalactic is out and around the time season 3 of the show comes out. Also, personally, I have absolutely zero interest in a fourth season that isn't adapted from the game - to me, the game is the REAL story - the real version of Joel, and Ellie, and all of the other characters. It feels more real and far more immersive because you can actually walk around in and live in that world, and be those characters. To me its almost like the game is "real life" and the show characters and story are just re-enactment of the real story. Any new story should absolutely be told in game form first, before any more seasons of TV are considered. I can't wait to watch you guys react to this new season!

They will be different experiences and it would be great to see season 3 reaction from those in the know and those not

And the little boy Joel is showing the map to is Tommy and Maria’s son/Joel’s nephew (remember, Tommy said Maria was expecting in Season 1). The way Bella delivered “You SWORE” broke my heart: you could feel every ounce of Ellie’s anger, sadness, hurt and confusion in just those two words. They’re such an amazing actor! 🥹😢
