2025-02-09 21:54:51 +0000 UTCYou accept the role of boss if and when you've earned it, not when you already betrayed Tommy before, lost an insane amount of their money when he did get put in charge of something and had nothing major to do with how they got where they are or even making the deals for the opium that he wants to use to drive his proposal. It's not like the bosses(Tom/Pol and Arthur) are in their 80's and told Michael that they wanted to retire, they aren't even in their 50's by this point in the story and he's blindsiding them in front of everyone with a hostile takeover. Where's the respect?!

She knew his EXACT title when they were at that party together. I think she and Michael could have easily hidden in the bar when the guys came back to go over Tommy’s plan.

Pre-Gina, yes - but she's not good for him, I think. // Such great scenes in this episode - and I love the trinity of men who can caretake for Tommy: Churchill - gets Tommy's whole life story and knows the deep pro-social purposes for Tommy's ambition and parallels it with their war experiences; Alfie - provides humor, same flaws, and deep understanding of each other; Uncle Charlie - fills in the gaps in Tommy's own history, and connects his ideations to his mom/grandpa, letting him off the hook a bit to try to heal and 'get on with it'. /// Such a nice reaction - I was so eager to see you all learn that Alfie lives! :)

No spoilers - I'll just say that I've always thought S6 is best viewed as one big episode (kinda like one really long movie). I know that extends to a lot the seasons, but for me the last one is most like that - due to the overall feel and storyline.
