Oh no you guys missed an end credit scene

Skylł2D

She kinda did tho, in the first film it describes going turbo as leaving the game due to negative feelings about it (in the first film Ralph was considered going turbo because he left the game to join another in order to get a medal, he didn’t have intentions to take over it all he wanted was to get the medal and return to his game but because he left to go into another game everyone said he had gone turbo) Vanellope left her game initially for good intentions but then when she experienced Slaughter race her feelings of boredom for her own game resurfaced and she never went back to her own game (from the first film that’s the definition of going turbo) as I mentioned in my previous comment I agree that in the first film her code was written out so it was as if she was completely out of the game so players probably wouldn’t have minded as much since it would probably seem as if the game had been updated without her but in the second film she just never went back so unless one of the characters had erased her code again her character would still show as playable but when they tried to play as her it wouldn’t work and would seem like there was a fault in the game (the same as what happened when Ralph just left his game in the first film). I get that the gaming roster is different but if that was a day when she should be playable then it wouldn’t work. I'm glad that she was able to find somewhere that people appreciated her as I also didn’t like the way she was treated in her game but the plot has a major hole in it. There were discussions on the internet when it first came out about how it seemed to contradict the first film and others also felt like she went turbo.

Zoe S

She still abandoned her game for her own selfish needs, she wasn't unhappy, she was just bored. And with that kind of mindset she'll just be bored again. And the only reason why everyone was awful to her in the first film was because they had no memories, brainwashed by Turbo and told she would destroy their game, so yeah they are going to be protective of it. And also because of her the game became even bigger and popular. I know if I played a game and out of nowhere my favorite character disappeared I don't think I would play it anymore either. And she didn't take anything like that to an account. It was all about what she wanted and didn't consider anybody else. You might not see it going Turbo but I do. It was still a big no no to not stay with your game.

Annie519

I’m really glad you guys liked it. I thought you were going to hate it because the comments were so negative, people are wanting them to stay the same and don’t understand there actions but they make total sense. Love the Princess scene it’s my favorite. This one was definitely funnier than the first. Great reaction!

Raquel Perodin

She didn’t go Turbo the game was fine before she was re-added they didn’t miss her or wonder where she was at all for years even tho she was on the side of the game. I’m sure it fine if she went to a different game it would still be fine since again no one really cared before, the others treated her like crap anyways. Good for her that she went where she felt happy and seen. Plus the gaming roster for the characters is different everyday. Not all the characters are available everydays anyways.

Raquel Perodin

She didn’t go turbo, that’s not what that means. Going Turbo means taking over another game and wrecking it getting that game disconnected. It doesn’t just mean going to a new game. I don’t get it,. What was she supposed to do? stay where she was unhappy? They treated her like shit for years pushed her around, never let her race and made her live by herself in garbage, literally pushed her in Mud, she was an outcast and hated for a long time. She deserves to go where she feels respected and where she felt like she could be herself. Which they never fully did they just tolerated her in Sugar Rush. The game was Fine without her for years before she was added to the roster again it will be fine without her as it once was. If going to another game makes her selfish then good, glad she’s finally truly happy the others can fend for themselves since they didn’t want her there to begin with.

Raquel Perodin

Y'all missed another fun extra scene at the end of the credits. Check it out!

Brian Lockwood

Thank you! Exactly, perfectly said! I didn't even watch their reaction, because there was no way I could watch it a second time, I literally just listened to their thoughts afterwards and that's it. I'm glad they enjoyed it though.

Annie519

I loved this film but think I preferred the first as struggled a bit in this one with part of the interaction between Ralph and Venellope when he spread the virus and then she was rude to him, while I can see where both characters were coming from I wasn’t keen on it. The main reason though is that Venellope basically went turbo which was said to be the worst thing a character can do in the first film as she went to the internet and decided to stay so never went back to her game. I understand that in the first film her code was removed so it didn’t seen like she was part of the game anymore but in the second film unless someone from Sugar Rush did the same, players would go to the game thinking that she should still be part of it and when she didn’t show they would think the game was broken and end up getting it unplugged (the same as what was going to happen when Ralph didn’t show in the first film). To me it would have made more sense for her to go back to her game and spend time playing it when the arcade was open, then when the arcade closes go back to the internet (as that’s constantly running and games are always available) and spend time with Shank being a character in Slaughter Race. Also Ralph left his game again during arcade hours (when he went to create the bonus Race track for Venellope) so if the players wanted to play Wreck it Ralph they would probably think that it was broken again and risk it getting unplugged. Other than that I do really like the film.

Zoe S

Okay buddy lol

ParkMinJeon

The way they visualize the internet is pretty great. In all honesty, the vast majority of the movie is actually really really good. It just isn't enough to make up for the way they completely changed Ralph and Vanellope's characters beyond recognition just to force the story. It felt way too much of a culture war "female empowerment stop toxic masculinity" nonsense. It isn't even subtle about it either, the only one that does wrong according to the movie is Ralph but Vanellope is perfectly fine in her selfish behavior? It makes no sense unless you acknowledge that the whole point of it is just to "empower" Vanellope and tear down Ralph.

Marco Gutierrez

Except that isn't how it works at all. His BASELINE is not having a friend. Even if he lost her, it would just be life as usual. Also I just stuck with the terminology you used, but we're never given a reason to think that he doesn't have friends. His problem in the first movie was that everyone treated him terribly. But the very opening shot is him at Bad Anon among fellow bad guys that sympathize with his plight, and he addresses many of them by first name so he clearly has interacted with them before. In addition Clyde, the orange ghost, says that he had been inviting Ralph for a while, yet again implying a prior connection there. He also knows and talks to Q-Bert on a familiar level. There simply isn't any evidence to support that he would be desperate to cling to Vanellope like he does in this movie. Fact is the movie is character assassination, plain and simple.

Marco Gutierrez

Excellent points. Yup I saw this one when it first came out and it is leagues worse than the original. The sad part is that it would have been a great follow-up except all of the character assasination completely ruins it. Both Ralph and Vanellope have a complete shift in character from the first game. Then of course you have the going Turbo thing as you pointed out. They also said at the end that Shank added Vanellope's code into the game yet we never see anywhere that this is possible. If you could do this the whole time, then why is that not the case in every game in the arcade so that nobody dies? This is the Last Jedi ship ramming maneuver all over again. The worst part is that the movie never has a single wrong thing to say about Vanellope. Sure Ralph is evil for being hurt at her actions but she's completely in the right for going about doing what she wants without bothering to consider how her actions affect others? I don't think so.

Marco Gutierrez

Why? They're entitled to their opinion and warn them away from a sub par movie.

Marco Gutierrez

God I love this movie.

Toan Toan

The end hits different as an adult for sure 🥹

Alanna Meyers 🍌

Thank you! A lot of people focus on the previous movie, which is fine, but this is it's own beast. It hits incredibly hard for some of us and that's okay. Thank you for sharing.

Stephen Hert

Overall, the movie is funnier than the first, but I hate everything else about it. The whole "Getting Viral" thing sucked, and Ralph was so overdramatic and weird throughout. It was just him whining for almost 2 hours with internet references thrown left and right. I wish it focused more on the slaughter race world, though; I liked that part a lot.

Jared

The sad part is for me as an adult this shyt hit too hard and close to home

Love10 ❤️

Oh my gosh?!?!!!?! I can’t wait!!

Micaella

I love this film. Has a good message and makes me laugh. Thanks for the reaction gents 🥰

Olive_Sandy

Absolutely Oak! As a parent, that wave goodbye is TOUGH. My son and daughter are in elementary school and they turn back several times before going into the school, waving and saying I love you multiple times 😂❤️ I don't leave until they are through the doors because I know they'll turn back around for more "I love you"s

BugBite23

I'm glad I rewatched this with y'all. I saw this in theaters and while I enjoyed some of it back then, I left feeling some disappointment with the ending. Looking back, while I now LOVE the first movie, the first time I saw it I remember feeling a bit letdown there too. Based on the trailers, I expected that we'd be game hopping into a bunch of different retro games the whole movie and I was excited to see that. So then when I realized we were staying in Sugar Rush, a game made just for the movie, for an extended period of time, I felt mislead by the advertising. Like I said though, I do appreciate what they did do with that movie and it has since become a Disney favorite of mine. What I like about this sequel is that I feel like we get more of what I expected from the first movie. We get more meta humor, more jokes, more references, and more settings. I don't think it feels like a product placement either, it just feels like you're actually inside of the internet, which has everything lol. As a Disney gurl, I always loved the Disney princess scenes. I like that they actually poked fun at themselves and that they were the ones to save Ralph at the end. My first watch I didn't care about Slaughter Race like that, felt gritty compared to everything else. Now I actually watch people play GTA rp, lol, so it felt less jarring to me. My biggest gripe with this film initially was that Vanellope essentially went Turbo, and that felt like it defeated the lessons in the first film. Granted, neither of them were at risk of going Turbo but he was the big baddie in the end. Upon rewatch though, I do understand where Vanellope's coming from. She spent a long time feeling like an outcast in her own game, unable to race, hidden away, treated like crap. It's clear that the other Sugar Rush kids never actually felt like real friends to her. Sure at the end of the first movie they bring her in in a show of acceptance, but that gesture doesn't magically fix their personalities. We see in the beginning of this one that they're still bratty in general, and knowing Vanellope's character I can't imagine that they have anything but a superficial friendship with each other. So I get why she would be drawn to a band of misfits, feeling like one herself. All she ever wanted to do was race so to be in an online game that's probably getting updates and new stuff, like yeah why wouldn't that appeal to her. Being in an arcade game would feel monotonous, especially as a character who has gone through so much. The Ralph virus thing was freaky on my first watch, I haaated how they moved together lol. I do think it's wild that after what happened in Sugar Rush that he would even mess around with a virus, but I guess in his defense he was clear when he asked for it that he just wanted to slow down the cars and not hurt anyone. Still, that felt like a lesson he should have learned in the first movie. I do understand the codependency aspect, I also thought it was clever and funny that the insecurity was literally just him being insecure lol. Ralph and Vanellope were lonely in the first movie, and not only that but they dealt with being bullied by the people in their game. Ralph clinging to the first person who gave him a chance and befriended him, is believable. I get how that happened and why he's afraid of change. Vanellope wanting to move on from her past, is also believable, she's been through a lot and is ready to focus and prioritize herself. I think this film actually caters more to older audiences then the first. Not just because of some of the jokes, I mean kids don't know about shopping on ebay, the dark web, or single moms in your area popups lol, but also kids don't know about codependency and how those kinds of relationships can actually become toxic if you lean on one person for your own happiness instead of learning how to find it from within. TLDR: Thanks for watching this one, I enjoyed it more now than I did back then.

Bri

Omg Answer how did you not watch this when you clearly loved the first one?! 😱 Not my fave & only watched it once. Happy for those who enjoyed it. Guess I'll watch with y'all & see how I feel about it six-ish years later....

Anya

I’m laughing at those who told them not to watch this movie lolll

ParkMinJeon

I’m agree with you guys, I love it too. The product placement made it fun.

Nikki Jade

I liked Vanellope in this one. But I respect your opinion.

Alanna Meyers 🍌

I totally agree with you Alanna and echo your thoughts on this! 🤘😊

Paul Yu (BlehBlarghBlah)

I really loved this movie and like Answer, I got misty eyed at the end as well. Like Alanna Banana, I think Ralph's motivations and flaws made total sense considering how shunned and vilified he was at start of the original to having a true friend at the end. It's no wonder he had major anxieties around losing Vanellope as a friend, especially if he regards her as his source of happiness. Thanks for reacting to this movie gents - I really enjoyed seeing your reactions. Also, if you can, in your own time or on the channel go Disney+ (where the movie is free to watch) and watch the end credit scene! So hilarious and callback to an awesome meme!

Paul Yu (BlehBlarghBlah)

For me, Ralph was annoying but I more had a problem with Vanellape. But they managed to make both characters incredibly unlikable.

Annie519

I really enjoyed it too! 🤘❤️

Paul Yu (BlehBlarghBlah)

I can finally talk about it more in depth! I was really looking forward to this, especially after I saw the trailer and aside from some funny moments, really good animation and creative ideas this was such a massive let down for me! I absolutely love the first film and in my opinion this one betrays everything that made that one so great! The first film’s message is such a unique one that doesn’t get told enough, it’s quite similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas and this one completely goes against it. Now, I do get what they were trying to do, and that’s being too codependent on someone and learning to let them go and that is a good message, but I don’t think it was executed well here at all. First, they made both Ralph and Vanellape incredibly unlikable. Ralph the entire film comes across as a clinging, whiny jerk and don’t get me started on Vanellape! The fact that she went Turbo and made it be a good thing still baffles me! Yes, she doesn’t enslave or hurt anyone but she abandoned her game, they made it very clear in the first film that’s a big no no. They kept saying “going Turbo” before they even knew about King Candy, so that’s literally what it originally meant. Not only that but she abandoned everyone in her kingdom and worse, all the kids that loved to play her. What if none of the kids wanted to play Sugar Rush anymore because their favorite character was out of nowhere gone? She could have potentially destroyed her game and all because she was bored. She just came across as very selfish to me. And I don’t care if she’s just a kid, we’re still supposed to be rooting for her but I wasn’t. I would have much more preferred if the sequel focused on new game characters or even Felix and Calhoun, which they also completely dropped the ball on. They have them babysit all the Sugar Rush kids, which was a really fun idea and yet do absolutely nothing with it. It’s honestly a bit hard to watch the first film now, knowing that they are just going to ruin this friendship, because clearly separating them where they can rarely ever see each other is exactly what everyone wanted to happen. I just have to pretend this one doesn’t exist when I do. I respect that it has fans but for me this was just so disappointing.

Annie519

People give Ralph’s character in this one a lot of flack but think about it from his perspective. He’d gone almost 30 years without having friends. He was treated horribly and was lonely. So him having his first friend yeah he’s probably gonna be clingy and terrified about her leaving. He’s never had friends before so he’s still learning how friendship works.

Alanna Meyers 🍌

I like the 2nd more than the first. It’s more fun and colourful and is way more funny than the first.

Alanna Meyers 🍌

This is what happens when you leave the kids by themselves 😂

Katie

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU MISSED THE REAL END CREDIT SCENE!! YOU COULDN'T HAVE AN INTERNET MOVIE WITHOUT IT AND I WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT PART OF THE REACTION!! I watched this in the theatres and waited to watch this because I knew there was something and it was so worth it in my opinion.

Steph

And tbh Slaughter Race is nothing else than GTA but with a other name - Probably for legal reasons. But you could see it and it was well implemented. The "Apple has a carot to chance it for the film like they did it in Zootopia" wouldn't work if you be IN the internet and show so many things. And it's a little bit like a snap of the internet with twitter and the tweets, something that don't exist anymore in this way.

Astoria

don't know if you noticed it, the little girl in the end scene was baby Moana

Astoria

Can we see some DD reactions in the future perhaps ;)

Josh B.

I understand people’s issues with some of the story elements and character behaviors, but to me the way they visualize the internet is worth the watch by itself.

SD

Some of us haven't seen the DD show. We will most likely not react to the trailer 🤙🤙

Badd Medicine

I dont get the hate for this movie I have always enjoyed it was it better than the 1st one absolutely not but its still a very enjoyable film imo

Anthony Velasquez

Fantastic sequel 🤙🏻

Steven Warner

Yes, it is. No idea what drove them to Prime lol.

Badd Medicine

Are yall goin to react to the new daredevil tailer tonight?

Donte McLemore

the option for the Full Length Uncuts are such a great addition !!! thank you

Bizzy

I was coming to say this exact thing. I’m pretty sure that every living voice of the Disney princesses did come back (Edit: I did not realize Aurora’s VA was still living and I retract my original comment and apologize to Mary Costa)

BeautifulDayXo

Completely agree. Lets see what the boys have to say!

Em

I don’t care what anyone says, I like the sequel. 🩷

Alanna Meyers 🍌

Before I even start this reaction, I think Ralph Breaks the Internet is one of the worst Disney sequels. It has a good message, but the execution is very on the nose imo. Interested to see what y’all have to say!

Plebcy

This sequel felt so cheap, especially from the second half on. I felt like I was transported back to the Emoji movie. Too many bold placements and flat internet jokes. I can't understand your rating but hey, everyone has their own taste. I just think it is not at all comparable to other animated movies you watched and rated similarly.

Caroline

Rented on Prime? It’s on Disney Plus

Steven Warner

Loved all the meta Disney references, the fact that most of the original voice actors for the princesses came back to do this film, and that Vannelope got her signature Disney Princess “I Want” song!
