2024-12-19 14:45:41 +0000 UTCJust to be clear because many people here (including me) write that the 2nd wreck it Ralph is not worth it. I personally think its not per se a bad movie. Its just that there are still so many banger Pixar/ Disney movies out there on a completely other level. And them watching wreck it ralph 2 (or also Rio 2) would mean the spot for another animated movie this month is full and we have to wait even longer for other movies we craving for so long. If they would watch more than one or two animated movies per month I wouldn’t mind.

It also has a really fun cast. I've only seen pieces of the second, so I can't comment to much on it but what I saw what pretty good.

But I LOVE Wreck It Ralph, I've seen it way too many times, too many references live rent free in my head lol, so I'm excited they're coming first! Rio was great too, I don't remember the sequel as much, but the first one had a great soundtrack that I used to listen to a lot. I know Croods is funny, I just haven't watched those as much as I have the other two.

And I think Emperor's was really the start of a "new wave" of hilarious star studded films. Cause after Emperor's we got: Lilo and Stitch, Nemo, Cars, Incredibles, Tangled, Ratatouille, etc, My kids loved it when they were young and my grandkids and I watch it every once in awhile now as well. It doesn't get old.

They really should just stick with a first film, see how they even like it and then decide from maybe enough recommendations to watch the sequel. That's how I also have felt about some of the other franchises they've watched.
