That is was just a giant music video for his daughter. At least she can sing so it wasn't a total loss. But I've officially sworn off M Night movies.

I'm with other people who saw the movie, this was literally just a giant music video for his daughter. But at least she can sing! I have officially sworn off M. Night movies after this. "Signs" was the last one I liked and I would watch a few more but always be disappointed. I Think "Lady in the Water" was the last film I watched. This was the first one that looked like it would be great and I couldn't wait until it was released. So disappointed in myself for falling for the trailer.

Now I just wanna say as for Joker 2, it's not a movie for everyone, it's a major fall from the first one but at the end of the day I did enjoy it more than I thought I would. Not a great movie by any means and it's not really a good joker movie, but there was still parts I did like (Joaquin still did a really good job portraying Arthur and I quite enjoyed the dynamic of him and Gaga's Harley)

2024-12-19 03:03:24 +0000 UTCI'm one of those people who doesn't judge a movie until I see it and see for myself if it's really bad or not, but honestly I haven't been able to see Joker 2 at all, my body, my mind, my spirit tells me that it's better not to haha, does anyone like it? The truth is I like musicals, but I still don't feel like watching it.

2024-12-18 22:52:02 +0000 UTCI figured Beetlejuice Beetlejuice would win, but I have yet to see a reactor like the movie, so hopefully they enjoy it. I actually enjoyed Trap even though it wasn't perfect, I haven't seen Joker 2 yet. I recently watched Carry On, I thought it was pretty good, I put it in the recommendation chat, mainly for Mason Quinn because it gives him what he always wants from a Jason Bateman performance.

I thought Josh was so great, he did a good job mixing of being hilariously over the top to being subtle, charming and showcased his talents. And it was also nice to just see him in a movie again, it had been a while since he has been in anything and I hope this seems we'll see him in more things in the future. But yeah, it was bad, lol.

Knight just wanted to make a film that his daughter could star and sing in. Cause the writing, the story the way it was done. Not good at all. Josh was great with the acting, but a good actor can't save this film.

I will say, even though it wasn't good and didn't get great reviews I thought Trap was blast. I had so much fun with that one, for how bad it was, lol.
