Milo Rossi’s Weekly Bulletin No. 10

Howdy Patrons!

This holiday week in the United States sees the newly expanded team starting on their first project together as well as a day of fireworks!

WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO:

Last week was primarily focused on two things, onboarding new team members, and filming the upcoming video. Last monday the team and I welcomed three new members who will be taking on different parts of the editorial process. This will hopefully allow for me to be able to spend more time making content than micromanaging every part of the workflow. With more tasks delegated to a capable team, we are on track to really ramp up production of videos in the coming months.

Along with this I also finished the script for the Green Sahara video mid week, and completed filming for it on Friday. With that project complete the newly expanded team is ready to take on their first task. Yesterday's meeting saw us beginning the ball rolling on the Sahara video as well as the reintroduction of Dark Routes with the upcoming fourth installation in the series.

WHAT I AM UP TO:

This week I am going to be focusing on various pieces of team management. I have been working with someone who specializes in team workflow who is going to be helping streamline our work. It all sounds very boring and corporate, but is a crucial part of making sure I can keep doing what I do. Other than this I am going to be working on scripting the studio sections for Dark Routes and hope to film by the end of the week. With new editors on board, its our hope we can have multiple videos moving at once.

WHAT I WILL BE UP TO:

Right now I am juggling a few different video ideas for the summer. I am seizing the moment in hopes of being able to lean into the team expansion pretty hard. I anticipate our limiting factor now will be my ability to film and produce videos. To make sure I am on top of things I will be taking time this week to do some scheduling to keep on top of new video ideas and prioritize what needs to be filmed.
