I wasn't actually very close to him, but there was patient abuse/neglect involved which has been hard for me to deal with. Lots of rage towards the medical staff for their disgusting behaviour. Loss is already hard but the way it happens can make it much worse.

Today would've been my dad's birthday, I lost my dad in 2016 after he was on life support for a few days, he had started getting seizures a couple years before all this and on his last day he had one while being on life support. Staying by his side throughout his hospital stay crying almost the whole time in them 3 days, talking to him without no replys. He was my best friend and there was nothing I could do to save him. When he had the seizure while on life support my stepmom made the decision to pull the plug. It was extremely traumatizing, minutes later he looked so deflated. Hugging him they let me spend the last few minutes, just me and him. During the first minute I was fool enough to believe he came back to life cause the air from the life support was still in him even after they pulled the plug. My heart skipped a beat with that first "false breath" just to realize it wasn't real. Anyways, I have no idea why I'm bringing this up. Just a really hard watch with them scenes.
