Urban Contrast 2.0

If you’re passionate about creating realistic urban settings in The Sims 3, get ready to expand your possibilities! After the release of the first Urban Contrast set, which introduced elements like curbs, industrial pipes, and even roof tiles, I decided to go further and dive deeper into the urban universe.

While walking around my city, I began to pay closer attention to the elements that make up houses. I noticed those small details, often deliberately ignored by our eyes since they’re there to function rather than to embellish the architecture.

Urban Contrast 2.0 is the evolution of that idea. As I became more attuned to these details, I stumbled upon an article about a small Norwegian city that brought this inspiration to a whole new level. Inspired by the unique atmosphere of Rjukan, Norway, this new modular set features detailed pipes and gutters, designed to give you the freedom to create incredibly complex and authentic urban environments.

Now, players can:
-Quickly and easily incorporate these new elements into their builds.
-Construct urban landscapes with even more detail and personality.
-Bring spaces to life that reflect the essence of contemporary urban design.

This set includes 22 pieces to complement your builds. Modular Norwegian gutter pieces, modular pipe pieces, and modular frame pieces for Paintings, which can also be used to decorate windows, doors, or, as seen in the image above, windows made with wall panels (i.e., false windows).
