The Next Step in Modularity (ModularBuild set)
Added 2024-10-01 01:18:20 +0000 UTCA few minutes ago, I shared a post on Tumblr (HERE) showing some of the progress with the new modular pieces I’m creating, along with a brief commentary. I wanted to give you a first-hand look at the impact of modularity, especially for community lots. I know that many of you, like me, would love to visit and explore the interiors of certain buildings. While it’s not impossible today, capturing them with the highest possible fidelity is still a challenge.
I’m barely scratching the surface when it comes to building modular pieces. Although they are incredibly powerful, even with just solid colors, I lack the skill and knowledge to add further details like image-based shading—visual details built from scratch. But that’s okay. I’m learning step by step without rushing, and if I need to learn more, I’ll do so at the right time. Still, I wanted to show you how much simpler it will be to recreate these buildings with our modular system!
Modularity is the next step in the evolution and progress of building in The Sims 3. I’m happy to be exploring this alongside you, and I want to thank you for supporting me so that I have enough time to work on this. I hope you’ll enjoy the new set that’s coming soon!!
