Double Or Nothing (Bet On Black/Matron's Handmaiden Crossover)

Last year I started reading the work of an author named clairanette over on AO3. I'm a massive fan of all of her stories, but my personal favorite is The Matron's Handmaiden, which I highly suggest that anyone and everyone who enjoys my work read for themselves. It's the length of two novels, and is incredibly rich and carefully thought out in a way I admire more than I could possibly describe.
Simply put, it's the story of a young woman named Chloe, and her owner, Candace St Clair.
With the permission of clairanette (she was verrry eager in fact), I decided to write a little crossover! It doesn't require having read Matron's Handmaiden beforehand, but for those who have read it, I hope my little easter eggs are enjoyable. Specifically, I'm crossing MH over with clairanette's favorite story of mine, Bet On Black!
I hope you all enjoy, and I hope she's happy with what I (and Gabriel, Mya, and Candace) have done to Chloe.
