Milk Wars: Community League Of Rhode Island

As mentioned a little while back, I've been working on a new project lately. I'd like to take this time to sort of explain what the deal is in more detail.

A few years ago, DC Comics had an actual crossover focused around the idea of the JLA being stepfordized by, of all things, reality warping milk. The story ended with the Doom Patrol freeing the JLA and saving the universe with the help of a few other characters.

This story is an alternate continuity of sorts. A universe where things went differently, and it was the villains who won. The Community League of Rhode Island beat the Doom Patrol, spread their dairy deliveries further and further, and more or less took over the world. There are pockets of resistance, from heroes and villains and civilians alike, which are being snuffed out one by one by the Community League and their fellow brainwashed converts.

Some of these characters actually have designs already. Superman (Milkman Man), Batman (Father Bruce), Wonder Woman (Wonder Wife), and the JLA (CLoRI) all have designs straight from the comics, and other characters have designs that I've commissioned from Wrenzephyr over on DeviantArt and Twitter. So far, Batwoman, Poison Ivy, Raven, Power Girl and Lois Lane have gotten additional designs, while a handful of others are still in the works.

Ultimately, I don't think you need to have read Milk Wars to read these stories. As long as you get the premise (reality warping milk) then you should be fine. It will be a series I add to every now and then, like Retro Futurism.
